No. It's based on open source OpenHarmony core and have it's own proprietary microkernel, HongMeng Kernel (HMKernel, HarmonyOS Kernel)

I wish this OS will be popular and adopted to other OEM. I'm literally tired of hoping on Windows. At the first time, I wish Samsung instead of Huawei who developed their own OS, but option is an option.
