Look carefully at the pic. The sign behind them literally says SOMALIA So what did they do? They put the Somaliland flag right in front of it and took the picture.. Then they posted it to mislead the public and the people of Somaliland. This is what Hargeisa project means. It’s dishonest, manipulative, corrupt and fake. Hargeisa project allows the EU EUCAPSOM to come to the State of Somaliland, works with them and let EU benefits from Somaliland’s strategic location under the name of Somalia. And when the EU wants to sign a proper security agreement? It goes to Djibouti. EU says Djibouti is their best ally in the region, and it helped against pirates!! 😂😂 Somaliland is being used as a buffer zone, because of Hargeisa project that takes that role willingly. It was an honour to direct Tower Hamlets Council to have a one minute silence in memory of the late Somaliland President Ahmed Silanyo. I also spoke of the recent peaceful elections that took place in Somaliland, and I congratulated the new Somaliland President Cabdiraxmaan Cirro I reminded TH Council that I brought a motion in 2015 to formally recognise Somaliland as an independent state. A reminder of that historic meeting here: I will always be proud to have done this for the ppl of Somaliland.
