Many years ago, I was told to shut the engine off. But I knew something they didn’t. If I shut that engine completely off, there was no guarantee it would ever restart at the level it once ran. So I kept it on. I tested it from time to time. I kept it sharp. I kept it ready. But I never put the pedal to the metal. I backed off when I needed to. I coasted when I had to. I protected the engine while the world assumed the race was over. It wasn’t. The engine is still intact. Still running. Still waiting. And maybe it’s finally time we find out what happens when The Big Guy puts the pedal to the metal again. And that’s the last bite. Feed Me More!

#WATCH | Delhi: On Kaveri engine development, DRDO Chairman Samir V Kamat says, "Kaveri engine, in its original form, has not delivered the thrust that is required for the LCA. The engine is working very well, it has given us a thrust of 72 kilonewton. But the LCA needs a thrust of 83-85 kilonewton. So, it's not going to be used in the LCA but we are using the derivative of the Kaveri engine for our unmanned combat aerial vehicle. So, without the after burner, the Kaveri engine will be used in our unmanned combat aircraft..."

100 Days... since I decided to try and make my own game engine. Not an engineer. Just a tech artist who wanted to learn & make something new. 100 days of excitement, despair, frustration, giddiness, sweat, & tears. Its been miserable. I've loved every minute of it. Its not amazing, I still have much to learn...but I made everything here and I'm proud of it. #gamedev #indiedev

Impromptu test on the Mark3 turbojet engine😎😂: The Ear Muffs are arriving next week, but again, I couldn't hold back but to run the engine at mild power today😂. I am probably the first person in Nigeria 🇳🇬 & probably all of Africa to build a self sustaining turbojet engine 🔥🤔, please correct me if I am wrong tho🙏🏻, but I doubt. Incase u don't know what a turbojet engine is, it is the engine that powers most fighter jets🚀. The engine is self sustaining because once it gets to idle speed, it runs at about 35,000 RPM on its own without the starter motor & batteries, and can only be shut down if the fuel supply is shut off, as demonstrated by my assistant in the clips. We will do a full power test with the afterburner next week when the ear Muffs arrive😎, so we don't go deaf🤣😂. We built this beast in Ebonyi State, Nigeria 🛠️⚡️ #Zedora #madeinEbonyi #madeinNigeria 🇳🇬

It's a bit early but still wanted to show Starter Kit City Builder for Godot Engine! The code is super simple, it works using Godot's GridMap component (basically tilemap for 3D objects). Will be free, open source and will come with new game assets!

I have something very special to share today! This is a hardware capture of maximqad's port of the Xash3D engine--which is compatible with the Half-Life engine--running on the Sega Dreamcast... ONLINE! Keep in mind this is EXTREMELY early in the days of the port, with no DC-specific graphics optimizations or hardware accelerated math routines yet, so performance still has a lot of room to drastically improve. Audio was literally just barely moved to the SPU for the first time just the other day too, so this is still all very incredibly new... ...but here it is! The engine that wouldn't even run without being on an emulator that also needed to emulate the extended 32MB RAM modification... now running on a stock Sega Dreamcast with online multiplayer connectivity and mouse and keyboard support! Fantastic work from maximqad! I really believe as this engine matures, it will be an incredibly powerful tool for Dreamcast developers and will potentially bring a lot of new software to the platform in the form of Half-Life engine mods!
