The new Microsoft icons in motion

The MS design team always does such a great job but... this level of quality never eventuates into the OS? Apple by comparison seem to show animations that are real and not pure salesmanship. Looks dope though.

I just wish they would put this amount of polish into their actual products

Why wasted effort in creating animation for static icons that will never be seen by the end users? Putting lipstick on the pig 🐷? I don’t get it at all

Their OS fragmentation, almost-guaranteed-buggy updates, decision to put more and more ads into their vanilla OS, and to put users second; ignoring all to put “new Office icons” first, is beyond me.
