1/ Agents think in HTML. Now they can build in it. Pass raw HTML and CSS directly to the Webflow MCP server and it converts to native Webflow elements instantly. No more building node by node.🎉

2/ Your component builds just got smarter. Agents can now build with slots, fill them, define them, and assemble full pages in a single call. No depth limit. 😀

3/ Your agents can now query the canvas like a DOM. Find elements by type, class, tag, attribute, or text content. Results come back as a clean tree, not a flat list. Less context bloat. Smarter builds.🤖

4/ That's the highlight of v1.2. 🚢🚢🚢 Want to learn more? Check the full changelog 👇

@webflow That's what I'm talking about. Amazing updates.

@webflow Let's go build! 🙌

Raw HTML ingestion is the feature that'll quietly matter most here. Every agent pipeline generates HTML fragments, and the conversion bottleneck was always mapping that output to proprietary component formats. MCP is slowly becoming a real interop layer instead of just another API wrapper.

@schmittdev @webflow heck yeah. will test if i can make it follow a class naming system and variables

@webflow Amazing Work!! Cant wait to try it.

@webflow 🔥🚢

@webflow This is awesome!!! 🔥🔥

@webflow So I can basically create a style guide and components in Webflow and then VibeCode based on that?

@webflow Yep - go build. 🙌

@webflow what a sense of timing! perfecto🤌

@webflow Great work

@webflow Will try it tomorrow. Honestly, I’m sceptical.

@webflow @leinwand how does the updated MCP handles style variables? Can you set the value of a variables as another variable? I guess does it allow interlinking of variables

@webflow I haven’t tried that yet. Give it a try and let us know 🙌🙏

@WebIsBae @webflow This is so awesome! Hope it doesn’t hang up in the middle of calls anymore.

@webflow SWEET

@webflow Dope!

@webflow Great to see! Big fan of web flow. Incidentally, I took one of your Berkeley extension (I believe that's who it was through) networking classes many many years in the evening in SF. Always thought you were an amazing teacher!

@webflow That was me! Thank you and Go Bears! 🙌

@webflow but all this you can't rename the css classes name?

@webflow Same as v1. Super slow. Like ridiculously slow. Crashes in the middle of the session. Do you plan to improve it?

@webflow Would be very curious to hear more. Feel free to reach out at allan at webflow dot com. That hasn't been the experience we've seen from others. See
