When one thief is stealing, among 350 other shoppers at Walmart, the other patrons don't stop the police from arresting that person.

He's right, not going taking your family to public places in order to avoid them getting harmed due to prolific violence is kind of normal for LA.

To be fair, there's around 4 mil people in LA. Almost 10mil in LA county. Most of what happened was a few city blocks. This weekend wasn't good, but most of LA continued about their day.
