And still, Old Bridge will do a better job with their money than Newark will. Old Bridge kids will be able to read and write on grade level.

Look at Cherry Hill and Camden now. State aid per student: Cherry Hill - $2,700 Camden - $59,400 Grad rate: Cherry Hill - 95.2% Camden - 67.1% Cherry Hill aid down 24% Camden aid up 12.3% Assuming same teacher pool, same curriculum, what exactly is being paid for?

I have lived in Old Bridge my entire life. 60%+ of our property taxes go to education. Our taxes go up, while our municipality is staying fiscally responsible. This school funding is ridiculous and should be unlawful! Newark is a mess and we keep giving them more!

Let's not sugar coat what it actually is. The mostly white suburban districts have been funding the mostly black urban districts for decades. The urban districts metrics have declined and white suburban districts have declined also because their money is going to fund the urban.
