The nurse's head is translucent, and there's fluid and something pulsating inside, that keeps moving even after they die. Nurses also have a baby's lower face. This is only visible when light hits their head from a specific angle. Front and back view in video. #silenthill #silenthill2 #silenthill2remake

Maria sits back down with her legs spread, and James reacts with shock and keeps staring between her legs. He tries not to look but keeps staring, and takes one last peek on his way out. This is visible only by hacking the camera. #silenthill #silenthill2 #silenthill2remake

James' health state affects his mental state. If you leave him idle while in low health he'll show a bit of his deranged side, will often get paranoid that something is behind him, and sometimes will hallucinate that someone is grabbing his arm or touching his head. #silenthill #silenthill2 #silenthill2remake

A look at the nurses' behavior when James isn't around, and the sounds they make. I find it very disturbing that they occasionally sound like babies... Simply genius sound design! Also, notice how their faces pulsate! #silenthill #silenthill2

James stays angry for some time after attacking and his face twitches. According to neuropsychology, the way he looks downwards left & right and blinks frequently means that he's having a flashback that makes him angry and he's talking inside his head. #SilentHill #silenthill2

There's a monologue by Maria, that strongly implies James is a mental patient and the story has repeated more than once. It was cut into several parts and scattered in her sound files directory. It ends with a cliffhanger, which *might* hint at a future DLC. #silenthill #silenthill2 #silenthill2remake

this model has lipstick and her lips look flat in the head turns. So I added a lower lip line to make the lips look more plump. I dont like the look of it in the front view, so I only applied it when her head is turned

A sinister detail in the Maria ending, James doesn't read Mary's letter, he just disregards of it and puts it in his pocket. This is why Mary doesn't recite her letter in this ending, unlike in OG SH2. Also, notice how Maria's eyes light up as soon as James puts the letter away, and she smiles. #silenthill #silenthill2 #silenthill2remake

James can get a nervous tic if he gets too stressed. It can only trigger after he enters Brookhaven, the hospital likely triggers a PTSD response and the stress remains afterwards. Interacting with a red square stops the tic. Perhaps what helps is the feeling of "someone groping around his skull" that he mentions in the opening..? As though something "resets" his nervous system. The tic triggers randomly when James gets hit and when Abstract Daddy or a Mandarin screams (even if they don't hit him) #silenthill #silenthill2 #silenthill2remake

When light inside water hits the surface at a steep enough angle, it stops escaping and reflects completely back into the water. It’s called total internal reflection, and it’s a reminder that even light doesn’t always travel the path we expect.

If you disable the music in the settings, you'll hear a man whispering something to James when you stand under any street lamp in the Otherworld town! It's one of the most insane Easter eggs in my opinion, and a genius addition by the audio team! This triggers after you reach the motorhome. #silenthill #silenthill2 #silenthill2remake

🚨In this FBI footage (viewed at 0.25x speed), a second individual is visible in the entryway. Please focus on the lower right corner: a light source. You can see a second person in the entryway. A glow that looks like a phone screen comes into view. I saw this video and starting thinking maybe there is something to this. 🤔 #NancyGuthrie

The inventory background is James killing Mary from the OG game's videotape. Each health state shows a different edit of it, and the sound changes slightly. (See the OG at the end of the video) I assumed new fans don't know this, and maybe some old fans hadn't noticed. #silenthill #silenthill2 #silenthill2remake

The inventory's background shows the moment James kills Mary from the OG SH2 (see end of the video). At first it's slow and blurry because James is getting flashbacks but he's in denial, and it becomes clearer and faster after the Pyramid Heads fight, when he accepts the truth. The inventory's background also changes depending on James' health state, it can appear sped up, shaking, and with colored filters over it. #silenthill #silenthill2 #silenthill2remake

Comparison between James' and Pyramid Head's models without the jacket, apron and helmet. Although they're supposed to be the same person there's a slight difference in their body type, Pyramid Head is leaner. Notice the scrapes on Pyramid Head's shoulders, caused by his helmet (and a few other closeups of details). I added James' head to Pyramid Head's model since he's supposed to be something like an alter ego for James (he's normally headless under the helmet). #silenthill #silenthill2

#AYA - "This is a beautiful Fairy. When they are seen as light, it is the visual of changing densities. At times there will be many tiny orbs and other times there is a large area of pulsating Light. The area surrounding each Fairy is a high frequency energy field. This is moving constantly and has a very soft ethereal look. Fairies have appendages as wings but these are not necessary in flight. Fairies move and live in all densities and dimensions. They are higher beings that were created in Elohim to serve all life."

PETN detonations last only microseconds and leave a light grey to off-white, wispy smoke of semi-translucent, superheated gases. A wispy cloud of that smoke is visible behind Charlie and around his chest. The red shirts and hats appear color-shifted by the gases. Fragments can be seen flying away from him from multiple angles, and his necklace flies up and over his head. Rooftop-theory advocates dismiss the microphone theory as ridiculous because they see “no flashes” and “no smoke.” That standard is applied unevenly. No rooftop rifle, muzzle flash, or rifle smoke was visible either, yet they still demand that evidence for the microphone while fragments and the wispy smoke around Charlie are plainly visible.

This is a rare Beta build of SH2, and it has differences to the final version! James looks more tired, he has a different animation when he runs out of breath, the inventory is different, some melee animations are different, metallic sounds sometimes play and make the controller vibrate as though Pyramid Head is nearby, and there's some unused soundtrack. Also Mary's letter and photo aren't in the inventory and Maria doesn't appear at all. Wait until the end for James vibing to an unreleased track! The track plays immediately when starting the demo and I thought that's very disturbing... #silenthill #silenthill2

Finally, the Darlington nurses have won their case. This is a victory for the safety and privacy of women and girls. Never again should biological men be allowed in female only spaces. The fight isn’t over: Head to to find out more.
