the one thing I dont get about that Pretty Cure dub is why, despite its quality, it still went for its own opening though I guess you could say that for a lot of broadcast dubs. Zatch Bell and whatnot

Its starting to get late and I know a lot of you are about to knock-out for the evening. Make sure that you get to the bed and dont hit the deck before its lights out. Sweet dreams, my friends. 🥊🥊

Q: Last year at the UN General Assembly, you said that Ukraine could take back all of its territory. Do you still think that is the case? Trump: I think they will make a deal. I don’t want to say what kind of deal it is. We talk about this a lot, including with President Putin

Zatch Bell Toonami promos. I like the rest in North America never even heard of such an anime (or its original name Gash Bell). Until I saw these promos from Toonami narrated by Peter Cullen. After being sold, I watched it and became one of the biggest Zatch/Gash Bell fans. Thank you Peter Cullen! Rest easy! 🕊️😔 雷句誠

Bill Maher on COVID: “[The government] said a lot of things that weren’t true, and they squelched a lot of opinions that turned out to be true. I do like to look back on COVID because I do think that I was kind of right about it. I never wanted that particular vaccine for that particular disease, which I thought my own immune system could handle, and I bet it could.” “I said a million times, another [disease] that could come along, I would fight you for the vaccine… [The Hantavirus] is that one… It’s harder to get, but I hate to tell ya, if you do get it, don’t buy any green bananas.” “You cried wolf with the other one with the masks and the distancing and the pretending that natural immunity didn’t count anymore. All of this bullsh*t.”

🚨ZUCK: "A lot of the corporate world is pretty culturally neutered. I have three sisters, no brothers, and three daughters, and no sons. I've been surrounded by women my whole life. The masculine energy is good. Society has plenty of that, but corporate culture is really trying to get away from it. I think having a culture that celebrates aggression a bit more has its own merits that are positive and having a thing (MMA) that I can do with my guy friends is good. The intent on all these things is good. If you're a woman going into a company, it may feel like it's too masculine and that there's systems that are set up against you -- but I think these things can always go a little far. It's one thing to say we want to create a welcoming environment for everyone, and its another thing to say that masculinity is bad and its toxic and we need to get rid of it. Both of these things are good. You want masculine and feminine energy. But I do think the corporate culture has swung towards being a neutered thing. I didn't feel this until I got involved in martial arts. It just turned on a part of my brain that made me say okay, this was a piece of the puzzle that should have been there, and I'm glad it now is."

The most interesting thing in tech: Everyone in Davos is talking about geopolitics and the growing antagonism between the US and Europe. But geopolitics are sometimes downstream of tech. And one thing that Europe could do is build its own open-source AI models. Eric Schmidt explains why that matters and how it could be done. #WEF26 #WEF2026

The thing about giving love is that, one day, the person might tell you they never asked for it. She knew its weight and that she'd have to repay it one day. While I understand her, her attitude in this regard is something I struggle to like. #WhenLifeGivesYouTangerinesEp15

Online Comp is very foreign to me. I see it as its own sport with its own rules. I don’t say that as a diss. It is what it is. A lot of the frustrations I might have with it pretty much come with the territory. I’ve been seeing a lot of this but to really think real-world football concepts and strategy will translate cleanly and consistently in such an uncontrolled environment is… a little naive? I know it sounds cool but I’ve never bought it. If I want my game to feel like football, I’ll just tinker with sliders, play the cpu, and hope for the best.

Sophy Ridge to someone from Trussell: "Can I just ask, demand for food banks is going up and this is often seen as a negative thing basically, that it shows that more people are in need turning to food banks. Could you flip that and say its a good thing..." er, no.
