"The only democracy..."

After not touring for seven years, I put together 'Culture War,' a rough hour of new material that I performed over a week in London. Here's the video I used to start the show each night. I'll be releasing clips and outtakes soon. Not a full comedy album - more like a mixtape of standup bits and reflections about growing up in the shadow of the War on Terror and the genocide in Gaza.

That last bit about colonised and colonisers and how it's going to play out in democracies for black and brown people.. #truth Being Irish, we see this and it's a big part of the reason Irish people have so much empathy for Palestinians. We really do see our history in them.

All these facts I already knew. To hear them listed like that, visualised like that, turns my stomach. Again. I already do my little bit putting stickers on Israel produce in the supermarket. Still, we don't do enough enough to stop the complete eradication of an entire people.
