There is nothing wrong in the subsidy removal but the implementation without consideration for the adverse impact on the ordinary Nigerians with the waste and corruption caused the pains Nigerians are going through. Actually supplying crude to the refineries will bring down prices if the refineries are Government owned. Government needs to heavily invest into refineries, at least 5 strong refineries that can do at least 1M bpd without issues. This will definitely crash the prices of petrol within the country and there will be no need to even talk about subsidy cause it will automatically be non-existent.
