Overnight, Russia carried out one of its largest ballistic missile attacks on Kyiv. The enemy launched more than 40 missiles of various types – most of them against the capital – and 120 attack drones. As of now, one person has been reported killed in Kyiv and the region, and 16 others have been injured. My condolences to all their families and loved ones. Everyone affected is receiving the necessary medical care. Emergency response efforts are continuing at three locations, with nearly 600 first responders involved. The relevant services are also working in the Odesa region. In total, over the course of this week, Russia has used around 1,450 attack drones, more than 1,640 guided aerial bombs, and 99 missiles of various types against Ukraine. People were injured in the Odesa region and Zaporizhzhia, and there was damage in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions. My deepest condolences to their families. Dozens have been injured, including children. Every Russian strike is an attempt to inflict as much damage as possible on ordinary life. This week, they’ve been striking residential buildings, our people, children, and civilian infrastructure. These are the main targets for the Russians. Thousands of strikes with various types of weapons: in just one week, Russia has used nearly 1,200 attack drones, more than 1,360 guided aerial bombs, and over 50 missiles of different types against Ukraine. Under all these strikes, Ukraine has continued to defend itself actively – on the battlefield, in the sky, and through diplomacy. There are significant results regarding the pressure on Russia: the 19th EU sanctions package and new U.S. sanctions targeting Russian oil. Rescue operations are ongoing at the sites of strikes and falling debris in the regions of Ukraine that were attacked by Russia last night. All services are on the ground, and the rubble is being cleared. Unfortunately, despite the effective work of our air defense, 4 people were killed and 16 were injured. Rescue operations are ongoing at the sites of strikes and falling debris in the regions of Ukraine that were attacked by Russia last night. All services are on the ground, and the rubble is being cleared. Unfortunately, despite the effective work of our air defense, 4 people were killed and 16 were injured. I thank all our people, all repair crews working around the clock to restore the energy sector after Russian strikes. In every city, in every community, you are restoring light, heating, and water supplies in harsh weather conditions. This is extremely hard work, but it is precisely this kind of effort that strengthens our country’s internal resilience and supports our positions in diplomacy. The situation in the energy system remains difficult, but we are doing everything we can to restore all services as quickly as possible. And last night, over 200 strike drones were launched against us. The Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Khmelnytskyi, and Odesa regions came under attack. Dozens of people have been injured, including a child. As of now, two people have been reported killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. This week alone has seen more than 1,300 attack drones, around 1,050 guided aerial bombs and 29 missiles of various types in total. That is why Ukraine still needs more protection – above all, more missiles for air defense systems. If Russia is deliberately dragging out the diplomatic process, the world’s response must be decisive: more assistance for Ukraine and more pressure on the aggressor. Emergency response efforts are currently underway in Vyshhorod, Kyiv region, following the Russian attack. Russia struck the city with drones, damaging numerous residential buildings. As of now, casualties have been reported: 19 people wounded, including children. One person’s life was taken in this attack. My condolences to their family members and loved ones. There are also people injured in the Dnipro and Kharkiv regions. Strikes also hit the Odesa, Sumy, and Kherson regions. A total of 122 attack drones were launched overnight, along with two ballistic missiles. Such attacks happen every day.
