Trans already has a “trust me, bro” threshold. So how can they discriminate between one man claiming to be a woman, and another man claiming to be a woman— and call any of it fair? Gender identity is the physical manifestation of a state of mind. And according to the ideology, not only does the individual define the terms of their identity— the individual defines the actual terms themselves. This only works when foundational terms in our language are stripped of their intrinsic meaning, and redefined to possess fluid & subjective meanings. It’s like declaring that “2” doesn’t always represent a value of two anymore— that it sometimes represents a value of three. So now, 2+2 can equal 5, b/c “2” represents a value of two OR three. This is an irrational, deceitful, and harmful ideology that replaces order with chaos. The movement demands that society replace biology with psychology, in terms of how we organize ourselves in society. They believe we should be prioritizing what one feels like being, over one’s actual being. And it’s quite literally one of the worst ideas in human history. Instead of practical biological categories, the categories that most consistently correspond with objective truth, the categories that have been the framework of human civilization for all time— they want us to reorganize society around the fluid & subjective categories they make up as we go along. The fundamental problem with all this, organizing society around our psychology, is that the human imagination is fluid & boundless, and doesn’t always comport with objective truth. A society relies on order. Order in a free society relies on a common truth. The biological relationship between man & woman is our common truth. If society embraced this ideology, our common truth would be that we no longer have a common truth. There could be as many possible categories as there are people, and an individual’s relationship to those categories could be fluid & constantly redefined based on how the individual feels at any given moment. Embracing this ideology would be a disaster, and would eventually require an arduous course correction, assuming it didn’t topple the existing system first. And maybe that’s the point. Truth & trans, in the context of what’s being demanded of society, are not compatible. It’s a deceitful, irrational, & harmful ideology that replaces order with chaos. This issue is the literal baseline of credibility. The people on the wrong side of it do not belong in positions of authority & influence. And snag gets the job done in women’s sports.👍
