If Nigeria was working, the Federal Government has got the rights and power to standardised prices commodities. My mom told me about a governor in Cross River State that was called Mma Effah. That her philosophy was to standardise prices so the poor and the rich can buy.She invented a special cup for measuring Harris, Rice, Beans etc . Anyone who raises price beyond her agreed price was considered criminal and dealt with according to the Law. So tradèrs should not be blamed but the government.
