Mathura police did lathicharge on Gau Bhakts for protesting and demanding action over the deaths of 40 cows. Gau Bhakts had recovered 40 bodies of cows which were kiIIed and thrown in a Jungle. Later when they started protesting, UP police used heavy force to dismantle the protest. Five have been injured in the lathicharge.
