@opinjustmine Here in Philadelphia, we have a stretch that’s full of shops and restaurants. Loads of shoppers, diners , bar hoppers looking for a nice night out. In the middle sits a couple empty “Bell of Pa” switching houses; the data centers of their day. Empty and depressing. #datacenters

Really hate when people put up videos and just add themselves looking at the camera like this the whole time. Leech behavior

As someone who's worked in the field for a long time, this guy absolutely and succinctly crushes the description of what's going on.

I’m reminded of a phrase that got used when bundling distressed assets together in the build up to the 2008 crisis. The shorthand was IBGYBG.

@wheredkittygo So building air castles and using yet unborn babies bath water to run them 🤔 It shouldn’t be allowed Pretty sure we’ll be just fine w existing data centres

🙄🙄☝️

I'm really glad that bald guy with glasses was at the top of the video staring at me the whole time. Really added a lot of value

Ok, admittedly over my head. Was this a bad thing or good thing? If it was a good thing, I wish our leaders were this articulate. ? ? Someone explain like I'm five. Was he advocating for? Only with safety nets in place?

The data center tech is already outdated and could be antiquated in as little as 5-10 years. Making such massive expenditures of capital impractical.

The Republicans who only interact with their billionaire friends are in for a rude awakening. I live in a red rural county, and MAGA is pissed off. They aren't buying the lies.
