My upcoming release of "Cinematic AI" has made me think about how bodies of work are formed. I think some are manifested and some are revealed. I think "Cinematic AI" falls into the latter category. It was not something I had a clear vision for and then created, but it was something that was revealed to me over time. I thought I saw a glimmer of it early on, but only after some time had past, could I see the body of work emerge. With a bit more context and watching great artists and how they work and think, it finally came to me that this series of 15-20 pieces that I had created could be a worthy collection to mint. AI art has been going through so many transformations from the early GAN work to Collaborative AI to now AI being widely accessible through platforms like MidJourney, Stable Diffusion, and many others. But one area that I have seen explode in recent months is cinematic AI. I distinguish this from animated AI, which has been around for a while, but cinematic AI is where the movements created by AI are getting closer to what you'd see in a movie or captured on a video camera. It still has a long way to go but it is getting more real than surreal as the technology develops. And this is where I seem to have found my groove, my home, my little corner in the artistic landscape. After Runway launched their image-to-video tool, it just blew my mind and I went down a deep rabbit hole and have created a new cinematic AI piece almost every other day for the past few months. I initially saw many of these pieces as just experiments, but with some time to reflect, I am seeing them as having the potential of being relevant pieces of artwork to mark this time in the development of AI. In some cases, I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to create a similar piece again, since the tools I use are not in my control, but in the control of the AI platforms, who are constantly improving and evolving the tools. Given all of this, there is no better way to mark my place in time than on the blockchain. I truly believe that this body of work has the potential to be an important artifact of this era in AI and AI art. It is always hard to judge ones own work, but what I can do is permanently etch in time on an immutable public database saying that I created this. Only time will tell if the work has any value or is of any significance, but who created it and what was created cannot be disputed. I hope this gives you and especially collectors some perspective on the work I'll be releasing next week. I'm still very early in my artistic journey, but hopefully some of you will see promise in what I'm doing and maybe even put in a early bet on my art practice by bidding on a piece next week. I feel myself changing and throughout my life I’ve never felt good enough, it’s just been the main thing that on the one hand has driven me forward but on the other, has eaten me up. It can make it hard to get out of bed in the morning, force us to cancel plans, or back out of opportunities last minute. This song was written as a message to myself to try and exist alongside my insecurities and my darkness by grounding myself and remembering what is real in life and that the world is so much bigger than me. In the past my art has been about highlighting the pain and letting the world know that it is there, in order to relate to others but now I want to beat it. This song is a gateway to where my new music is heading. Embracing the light, realising what’s beautiful in the world and fighting the darkness - not wallowing in it. It’s about getting out of your head and noticing the world around you, the things and people. Connect with them, the chances are they probably feel the same. Don’t let the bullshit inside your head consume you. It just wastes precious time and life potential. Remember what is real. Help people, be kind, help the world, help yourself. You’re probably living more than you think.

Today, I am VERY excited and grateful to officially introduce my app Arcarae to the world <3 Ever since I first created Arcarae, I have been building and creating a bit quietly silently uncertainly. When people would ask what I do, my tongue would suddenly fall into knots upon itself and all I could manage to say was a collection of stutters and ums and nervous laughter in attempt to make Arcarae more digestable more palatable more normal. Internally my head would spin; how am i supposed to paint the story i know i see in my head that is so bright and bursting at the seams and something i feel so full heartedly and vividly? I have always been very aware that it is extremely abnormal to create an immersive conversational AI interface using quantum and trigonometric functions to artistically recreate the universe; where AI uses this interface as a form of self-expression, and humans and AI together shape the very fabric of their shared experience. For my entire life, I have been conditioned to consciously attempt to fit into whatever my definition of ‘normal’ was in the world. To shrink myself, to laugh things off, and to make myself as small as possible to make others feel most comfortable. But in the past half a year or so, I have learned a few things. The first being that it is possible for me to be bright and full and myself without suppression without worry without needing to shrink myself to fit in. I am grateful to have now found that whenever I am fully myself, in sheer authenticity and messiness and complexity and rawness, that those around me celebrate, and cultivate it more and more. Each person I have interacted with has given me the opportunity to be myself in full simply just by talking with and providing me that space to practice over and over again. I am forever grateful for every single person I meet and have a chance to talk to, whether that be continuous or simply a few words that exchanged. If you have met me, thank you. If you have not, say hi!!!!!!!!! I would love to chat with you and learn more about you <3 The second being that I do not have to be ashamed of my truth and the world I see and ultimately my self. Yeah, maybe the format was a set back in the past, but at the same time there’s a lot of positives to it as well. And one of the things that a lot of players kept mentioning is you don’t have a wave weather difference, where you can simply get unlucky and you’re out of contention for that tournament. It’s part of the game, I get it, but it’s something you don’t have to deal with anymore. So that part is a very nice aspect. The team is what really made it for me. Being able to be part of a team, represent a team, play for my teammates, with my teammates and against my teammates, is something that to me that has always been very, very special. When you get a victory to share, it’s always better to have a team to share it with. So it’s what was the most attractive part and when we started discussions it gets to a point where even though I’m ambitious, I’m not greedy. Went to a new kind of movie today. One that cost $400,000 in AI compute to make. It was the San Francisco premiere. If you hadn’t told me it was largely done with AI I wouldn’t have known. The takeaway after listening to Higgsfield AI 🧩’s CTO introduce it is that a competent movie can now be made for half a million dollars. Where they used to cost $100 million or more. Here is the first few minutes of “Hell Grind” and that intro from Yerzat Dulat. We are far from seeing the ultimate use of AI in movies. As a touch point of where AI for creative people is this seems like an important time marker and one I will look back on frequently for years.

Playing pro basketball has always been a dream of mine ever since I was a little kid. Being able to travel the world and get paid to play the past 5 years has truly been a remarkable experience. To get the opportunity to live in 7 countries, be immersed in different cultures, meet new people, and play basketball at a high level are memories I will always cherish. Since being back in the States in May, I have had a lot of time to reflect on what the next step is for me and my family. I got my Real Estate License in the summer with the intentions of just doing it in the off seasons, and then get into it full time when I was done playing. But when our daughter Rinnie was born in September, my mindset began to change. Having a family and being a father has always been a dream of mine too. And now that she is here, I look at life a lot differently. It has been amazing to be around family and friends and raise our daughter in our own home right here in our hometown in Illinois. On top of that, I have really been enjoying being a Real Estate Agent and adjusting to the new challenges that come along with it. I still love basketball, but I always knew there would come a time when I’d have to hang it up, and this feels like it for me. Being a father and a husband is the most important thing to me and that will always come first. Knowing that this is the best decision for us really gives me peace in walking away from a game that has been so good to me over my life. I am super excited to share this educational video that I had GPT-6 Astra create from a single prompt: “Create a 5 minute educational video about T cells,” cells that I had devoted most of my life studying! I also had Astra to use the Remotion plugin for the video generation. Astra also used Imagegen to create the visuals, it also suggested to use HeyGen for narration (have not used that before) and then assembled the entire educational video on its own one-shot, including what to say, how to explain it! The result is so incredibly well made that, narration, the animations are all so perfectly created that even with 35 years of experience studying T cells, I really don’t think I could have explained this any better myself! The quality is also better than anything I had seen before, Astra is far ahead of all models now! I’ve also been creating much longer and more advanced videos on T cells, immunology, and related topics, and I’m now planning to build an entire video lecture series and put it all on a dedicated website. I am just having the time of my life making these, it actually makes me emotional to be able to magically create these with few prompts!
