Early last year, Robert F. Kennedy Jr sat down with me for a wide-ranging, two-part interview. Here's what he told me about what has motivated him to keep going, despite the pushback and criticism he's faced: "I would not be fighting this fight if I didn’t think that there was hope for restoring democracy and values to our country.…I don’t make predictions and I try not to get invested in outcomes. When you learn the fundamental law it is important to get in front of your government servants in the presence of the people to teach both the people and your servants that the people have all the power , that your trustees are there to benefit the people , to tell them where they are falling in danger of maladministration, what the law is and how to correct it. It is in exercising your power and right that brings forth a paradigm shift like none you’ve seen before. Doing this flips your local state and federal government back to the people as the people learn and start joining you in speaking the law. It becomes no longer about complaining about the issues but using your power and authority as it is written to correct and bring the change necessary to secure our republic for yourself and for the common good of all. This is not only our right but our duty to teach our trustees what their job is. Many say they won’t listen or live in fear of what they may do, but as you can see here I spoke in front of police officers and our trustees and I was not detained or restrained from standing on my authority. I also was not called a sovereign citizen and the outcome of getting the people to stand with me in signing those notices and serving them made our county board do right by the people and not pass the mandate. There’s a reason Ben Franklin said “ a republic if you can keep it”. He was saying it’s on the people to maintain what they secured for you. The people need to show back up and run their nation the way our founders laid out in all 51 constitution they penned. Everyone is searching for remedy but most don’t look in the 50 state constitutions that expressly declared our power authority and rights. Your remedy is there, the only question is will you use it? It won’t, not because those who were responsible for that dark past will not try again or are not even trying now again. It will not happen again just because there will be people who will stand up and fight. It’s not because there are fewer people who wish for us to perish or who would have wished for this country to disappear. How can people accept that? What kind of people do not stand up and fight? There is a risk of dying when you stand up and fight but if you don’t, it’s a sure thing: you are going to die. So why don’t I try to stand up and fight with the chance that I might survive and live life as I want it, instead of giving up and you let people treat you as if for you to live, it is a favour that they are going to do for you. Why? But my message goes to other Africans who live like this on a daily basis, who are dehumanized and they accept it and they beg. I can't beg to live. I can't beg anybody. We’ll fight, If I lose, I lose. But there is a chance. There is a chance, a significant chance, that if you stand up and fight, you will live. Well, I'm like, yeah, it sucks to find out that the mob runs the world, you know, but the question is, or do you just want to let them keep running it because it bums you out, or do you want to say, screw you guys, we're going to build something else and get off your, you know, slave plantation? "And I am in the group of, I would like to build something else. I have three kids. I do not want them living in a world run by the mob. So what are you going to do about it? I mean, it starts locally, it starts with your community, because that's where we can actually affect change. Voting for left or right, blue or red. I mean, it's just this ping pong thing where nothing fundamental is changing. "And so to affect that change, we have to do it ourselves. And you think this would be a core American value? Individualism, individual responsibility. But a lot of people just don't care. And so, you know, that sucks. But I think those of us that do care need, to take steps to be as independent from the system as possible. Because every so often, this predator class, they do wealth transfers or they orchestrate and manufacture events and they make a big grab, not just for our money, but for our rights. Trump: I think it’s very sad, actually. I’m surprised that it wasn’t—you know—the public wasn’t notified a long time ago, because to get to stage 9, that’s a long time. I just had my physical. You saw that. You saw the results of that particular test. I think that test is standard to pretty much anybody getting a physical—a good physical. We had the doctors at the White House and over at Walter Reed, which is a fantastic hospital, do it. I did a very complete physical, including a cognitive test. I’m proud to announce I aced it. I got them all right. You proud of me? Your husband would be proud of me for getting them all right. It’s a little risk. If I didn’t get them all right, these people would be after me. It would be not a good situation. But I think, frankly, anybody running for president should take a cognitive test. They say it’s unconstitutional, but I would say in that particular case, having a cognitive test wouldn’t be so bad. But when you take tests—medical, as a male—that test is very standard. I don’t know if it’s given to everybody, but it’s given just about. And it takes a long time to get to that situation… to get to a stage 9. I think that if you take a look, it’s the same doctor that said that Joe was cognitively fine, there was nothing wrong with him. If it’s the same doctor, he said there was nothing wrong there. That’s been proven to be a sad situation. And the autopen is becoming a very big deal. You know, the autopen is becoming a big deal because it seems that maybe it was the president—whoever operated the autopen. But when they say that was not good, they also—you have to look and you have to say that the test was not so good either. In other words, there are things going on that the public wasn’t informed [about], and I think somebody is going to have to speak to his doctor—if it’s the same or even if it’s two separate doctors. Why wasn’t the cognitive ability—why wasn’t that discussed? And I think the doctor said he’s just fine, and it’s turned out that’s not so. It’s very dangerous… this is dangerous for our country. Look at the mess we are in. You talk about all these questions on Ukraine and Russia. That would’ve never happened, as an example, if I were president. It would’ve never happened. The other thing—you have to say: Why did it take so long? I mean, this takes a long time. It can take years to get to this level of danger. It’s a very, very sad situation.
