At first glance, it may appear to be a normal black patch, but in reality, the surface is completely damaged, filled with loose stones, mud, uneven patches, and crater-like potholes. This has turned what should be a safe public road into a serious hazard for commuters. The question every taxpayer is asking is: where is the tax money going? Citizens pay road tax, property tax, fuel tax, and various other charges, yet basic road infrastructure continues to deteriorate. MINNETONKA: A large police presence is in the area of Hopkins Crossroad and Lorry Lane as a male suspect is refusing to exit a vehicle and may be armed. The incident has been unfolding since at least 10:20 p.m. and SWAT officers are now on scene. Multiple drones are being used in the area and PA announcements being made for the suspect to exit the vehicle. Due to radio encryption, we have limited details on what preceded the incident, though it may be domestic in nature. Traffic in the immediate area remains closed as of 11:45 p.m. (Submitted video)

This is Mylapore, off Radhakrishnan Salai near Vivekananda college. NO ONE has come to clear the water here. It’s been like this since yesterday, and by the minute more sewage water is coming out and getting mixed. Water has entered all the houses at ground floor level here. Please do something about this and other parts of Mylapore. Water has never stagnated here, not even during the 2015 floods. All through the year, they kept digging up the roads and multiple times the roads caved in and they kept restoring. Now the whole thing has reversed and water is completely stagnated. People in the apartments and houses here are not able to step outside to get basic needs and provisions. Not even drinking water. We’ve not had power for more than 48 hours now. The power was cut around 10 PM day before yesterday. No network either, until we come out of the apartment or go to some corners in the terrace.
