The real fun starts when you explore beyond the "default" path.

Straying off the main path is such a core appeal for me. Seeing each racer going every which way makes the race so much more exciting!

No, regular snowboards only.

The high default speed removes the challenge of gradually building momentum imo

Trust me, the WR speedrun holders can tell you it's hard to maintain 190+ mph.
