The real ID.

You had to show all this information when you first got your driver's license... they are doing it again to verify you are an American... they don't keep any information, they just verify the information.... This is not the digital ID.

This is completely untrue. All I did was renew my license of several years ago, and it was automatically issued. I did not have to give them anything that Social Security guard nothing. I don’t know why people are making up all these lies.

That's funny, we've had real, I d's in florida for at least twenty years now that i'm aware of

Real ID is only tool available to allow law enforcement and voting precincts to tell the difference between citizens and non citizens

I have a real ID. I brought my drivers license and birth certificate to my DMV. Nothing was scanned. I,showed the documents, they were returned to me.

I knew something was up. Since when does a driver license not work?

So people are just taking their original documents and just handing them over for them to keep? Somehow I doubt people are doing that. They may be getting a copy, but their original docs...idk
