The reason behind people growing tomatoes upside down

Not a smart idea the do this. The main cause of a lot of viruses that plants get it is from soil splashing up of the leafs so upside down means you will likely get those viruses when the water drips down the stem.

put lots of mulch on top of the soil. perhaps this won work in spain/hot countries? if the bucket gets too hot. also i dont recommend to use plastic and plants you want to eat., perhaps containers made out of wood?

lets apply this in offices and schools. Lets hang employees and students upside down, so that more blood flow happens to brains and people get more intelligence to work or study.

Why? Stake and prune properly. Why force the plant to put energy into growing this way? And how dobthe roots stay cool and hydrated? There is no good reason to do this.

i've tried upside down planters before theyre supposed to increase yield but i found they dry out too if you're not careful

The problem is all these containers are plastic Any container that is not plastic is most likely heavy

It's horseshit I tried it a few years back and I probably didn't even get the normal amount of tomatoes that I usually get. Plus the big pain in the ass

I wonder if this would work with basil planted in the top, as they make for good companion plants 🤔

O problema não é cultivar o problema mesmo é ele não dá aquele fungo branco que o mata em 3 dias. Já usei de tudo e não tem jeito. Germina e cresce lindamente mas não vão pra frente, morrem. Que remédio usar?

This saves space but as far as saving energy it doesn’t do anything. The plant uses capillary action to move the water, gravity doesn’t really have an effect on the functionality.
