The worry is that players can add to the anger at the refs by their reactions to the foul calls. Robinson clearly is upset at the refs for this call, there was even groans from the crowd during the replay. But watch the replay: this is as textbook a foul as you can get. He crashes into Embiid and dislodges him. But now we've got fans who are outraged for no reason 🤷‍♂️

Luka really wanted a foul but it's a text book high 5 play. Remember, this still exists and is legal if you contact the shooting hand, so long as you don't add an overt secondary motion into the contest. We can see the ref signal that it's a high 5 situation at end of 2nd clip 🙏

So this is a landing space foul because there is foot to foot contact, but thankfully it's not a flagrant, and the natural sway on the fade means SGA's feet flow forward. This is one they could keep refining in terms of the rules
