Did the @Saints front office know about Carr’s injury b4 the restructure? Did Carr hide it? Did they make him take a physical before the restructure? How inept is this front office? Really - this is a serious question.

Nick we need the real answers. Did they know about the injury before the restructure? Who leaked this info two weeks before the draft (which makes us show our hand more than before). It was widely reported that he wanted to go elsewhere, we didn’t let him go, and now he hurt?

The Saints have NO ONE else to blame but themselves for the position they are in... PERIOD!!!

Maybe it's conspiratorial to say, but this thing with Carr stinks to high hell of him/his camp trying to sabotage the team's efforts to draft his replacement. Suddenly everyone knows how important QB is to us and if Shedeur is there at 8, I think we're getting Mahomes'd again.

How did they not add a veteran QB in the off-season if they are drafting a QB at no. 9 and Carr can't compete for snaps?!? Malpractice.

So what if Carr doesn’t need surgery and injury can be corrected with PT?

The argument to keep Carr in the 2026 offseason will be the same as it was in the 2025 offseason. We can't afford the $60m dead cap hit to cut him. We can save $39m w a restructure. Ignore future costs and look at 2026 only. We already 'paid'. The timing to cut will be 'later'.
