It's the same for Liverpool.. we almost went out of business in 2010

Exactly. Laid down a blue print for buying talent on the right age curve and grew into challengers. And fucking struck gold with Salah (annoyingly 😂)

Not an Arsenal fan by any means but they have built the club in a way that these lottery winners simply can’t grasp. All these ‘Red Cartel’ loons who want instant success should watch this video.

Crying red cartel when Arsenal and Liverpool were both mid table teams during that era. We sold our best players to direct rivals who used them to win the league while we were bantered for years. Players were on the field illegally so it nullifies everything

Sold the name of your stadium to Arabs 🤣🤣

Yup. Thats how growing revenue works.

Spurs have done alright with that no name sponsor

Well that’s up for debate surely? But you are looking to sell the stadium naming rights.

Nope had offers all turned want to keep the name we have been in the stadium since 2019

Very admirable if you stick to it. But selling stadium naming rights (not that I’m a fan) is just another revenue stream.

Totally agree am very surprised they have not sold it but it’s all commercial being called Tottenham no matter what the event NFL music concerts

you didnt earn your financial platform through sacrifice and sustainable growth, your sugar daddy poured half a billion into your shitty club and even then, it took you 22 years and an American’s chequebook to win one title. Sit tf down

Exactly, City fans complaining about the red cartel. Yet they forget that years before now, they we're all struggling in order to comply with PSR rules.

The rules didn’t exist when Arsenal did all that. Also 99% of clubs still make a loss with PSR in place. It’s setup to keep certain clubs where they are, not for their sustainability.

"You're only allowed to spend money if you were successful last century!" Convenient rule there mate. "You can only be a big club if you do it like we did." Gatekeeping bullshit. Pure jealousy of clubs with rich owners.

Spot on mate. I’m convinced that all these ppl whinging and whining have only been watching football for 10 years.

🙌🏿

👏👏👏

So how did Chelsea get away with it?

State of this moron.

Arsenal have never been outside the top 4 for revenue generated in the PL era, and have paid top 4 wages for the vast majority of that period too. Trying to compare their building to Villa/Newcastle is just a non starter

So well explained. How did the big ‘6’ become the big 6. Only two are facing charges of mismanagement the others got there on merit

This is a bit too dismissive of the relevant context. You’re able to fill your stadium and earn substantial revenue “organically” because of your decades of history as a mega club, not because of the past 10 years alone.

Unholy Trinity

I’m struggling to see how PSR is a negative. The league is more competitive between all teams than it’s ever been. It’s not PSR’s fault Villa tried to replace Rodgers with Garnacho.

Not a myth

The cartel argument is stupid cause pool and arsenal showed how they suffered for years to be able to win titles whereas city and Chelsea were cooking books to sweep up titles changing the makeup of the league

Prior to psr the three red clubs have been in the top flight since the year dot , spending millions from the mid 80,s onwards

I’m us not often you agree with Arsenal supporters, but it’s a good video. It’s why competing on all fronts even for the best teams is so hard. PSR is also why the PL City aside is arguably the strongest and most competitive league. Anyone can beat anyone. City jusy ruined it.

Talks about myths, then shows the 96% wage ratio stat 😂😂😂😂😂

So true, and this is what makes me as a supporter so livid today.

Some baby Arsenal fans will say Wenger is overrated Babies that should be crying over cereal instead of football

Its fucking protectionism

remind us again how did u reach 1st league 😁😁😁

@markgoldbridge listen carefully, when you speaking about @Arsenal

“Let’s not rewrite history” ok VAR and refs admit mistakes to win you the league 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️ then moan on Newcastle the only rich club with wage structure and not breaking rules🤦🏼♂️ and Arsenal aren’t that global mate🤣🤣

19 of 20 premiere clubs posted a loss last year… What’s changed?

Dont talk shit
