AEW feels like a hot promotion: "I think this was one of the best shows they've ever done. The match quality was through the roof. Maybe the best match quality of any PPV they've ever done. Incredible matches and the surprises. They felt like a very hot promotion." - Dave Meltzer

AEW All In was a giant success with PPV buys between 210,000 and 230,000. "On the high end it would be the biggest AEW ever, on the low side it would be the second biggest ever. Unless there's some big boxing match, it would probably be the biggest PPV of the year of anything. Biggest wrestling PPV number in the last 5-12 years." - Dave Meltzer

Dave Meltzer on the AEW Forbidden Door live experience: "As a live show it was pretty much fantastic. I didn't think it was the best PPV of all time. Some people were like 'oh, second or third best ever,' but it was one of the best live shows I've ever seen."

"The last 2 matches were fantastic. The last 90 minutes were about as good of 90 minutes of any PPV show you'll ever see. The video packages, entrance, the whole presentation of Ospreay/Omega... I thought it was absolutely incredible." - Dave Meltzer

AEW Revolution feedback is in: "The general consensus of people live... they thought it was the best show they had ever seen. Everyone did mention the length... the feeling was 'we'd rather have the best show we ever saw than a shorter show.' Most people loved almost everything on the show, the main event obviously very polarizing." - Dave Meltzer

"2025 based on my ratings, for whatever that's worth, was the best year for wrestling matches in the history of this industry. It was the best year overall for business in probably 2 decades plus." - Dave Meltzer

"It's an AEW PPV. All the matches are going to be good. Many of the matches are going to be great. By the standard of PPVs it was a great show. By the standard of AEW PPVs it was a good show. It wasn't like Revolution. It wasn't incredible match after incredible match but it was good match after good match." - Dave Meltzer

Bryan: "I thought it was probably the best AEW PPV I've ever seen." Dave: "They do the best big shows I've ever seen on a consistent basis. There's a lot more moments I get scared on AEW shows than anybody else as far as the talent going too far but this was a great show, great booking, great wrestling matches and one of the best crowds they ever had."

"Live [Dynamite] was a fantastic show. Mike Bailey and Kyle Fletcher match was one of the three best matches I've ever seen in that building. I don't know how it came off on TV but it was a hot, sold out crowd." - Dave Meltzer

"There is going to always be crazy feedback because that's the nature of the beast. It was the lowest I've seen in years and more praising of it than almost any other year. I've had so many people go 'Wow, the voters really got it right this year.'" - Dave Meltzer

"I don't think he was very interested in the AEW offer. In WWE for a long time, their belief was as soon as his contract's over, he's gone. He didn't get any reaction. It was the wrong place to debut him. Didn't do anything super memorable." - Dave Meltzer

Dave Roberts on the Padres fan that was heckling Shohei Ohtani: "Very annoying. He was in my right ear the entire game. It was very out of character from Shohei. It was good to see Shohei initiate a high-five. That was fun. It was great to see Shohei show his personality."
