DP Rigathi should resign! The recent outburst by the DP against the National Security Intelligence Sevice (NSIS) amounts to a national security threat. He has exposed the service to ridicule, & sowed seeds of disunity in this vital entity. The consequences of his reckless statement is utterly profound on the operational functionality of the service. This is more dangerous than a military attack on the nation. National Intelligence service is the backbone of our security that has enabled this country to enjoy peace, freedoms & security. Pointing out the biggest challenge of AI, he argued, "this is a development that will certainly be of great help to society, provided that its employment does not undermine the identity and dignity of the human person and his or her fundamental freedoms."

Theoretical physicist Michio Kaku on why aging is simply an accumulation of errors that AI can now identify: He opens with a bold claim about what artificial intelligence might finally make possible: "Artificial intelligence may give us something that the kings and queens of old could never conquer and that is the aging process." For Dr. Michio Kaku, the science behind why we age is no longer a mystery. It comes down to one thing: errors building up inside our cells over time. "We now know why things age. Things get old and die because they accumulate error. Error in the form of DNA mistakes. Accumulation of errors inside cells." The challenge, until now, has been the sheer scale of the problem. Identifying exactly where and how these errors occur across the human genome has been beyond what conventional research could handle. That's where artificial intelligence changes everything: "But now we have artificial intelligence. We can analyze millions of genomes of old people, compare them to millions of genomes of young people, and identify where aging takes place in the body."

$Iran is increasingly relying on drones to strike targets across the Middle East, using unmanned systems that can be produced far more quickly and at a fraction of the cost of traditional missiles, CBS News' Holly Williams reports. McKenna: Do you think that this 30-day deadline as a meaningful opportunity to approach some sort of endgame with the US, or is it just another pressure tactic? Carney: It's both. We've seen a series of trade negotiations that the US has undertaken. And normally there's a deadline, normally there's an outsized tariff associated with that deadline. The second thing is that I would say that in our interactions this week with various levels of the U.S. administration that there's a level of engagement and a breadth of engagement that reflects the seriousness of the trade relationship and the breadth of the issues.
