The rollback will barely affect anyone hitting 220-250 off the tee. Maybe lose 2 yards, and shorter hitters will see less impact. More impact if they roll back forgiveness on clubs with head covers, but that would have a significant and dramatic impact on equipment sales.

Thinking about subscribing to Hedgeye? Don’t take our word for it. Listen to portfolio manager @Mike_Taylor1972—one of the best in the game—on why Hedgeye is a must-have for investors. 🔊

Conveniently ignoring the fact that USGA wanted bifurcation...the PGA players whining are the only reason the ball is rolling back for everyone.

@USGA would really like to understand why a data driven sport like golf is regulated by a Governing body that consistently ignores actual data. Who cares how low they go; they all play the same course. #theother99percent

IMO Golfers are more “athletic” now. They hit the gym, they eat right and there are only a few smoking darts on the course… The “game” has evolved into a “sport” and the “old” courses designed for play by men with an average height weight of 5 feet 6.5 inches and 159.5 pounds don’t cut it… sorry PGA, don’t hurt the game because your old courses are built for my Grandpa …

Unpopular opinion: Who says we have to listen to the @USGA ?

Maybe it’s not about how you personally hack it around the course? It’s about Augusta and the world’s best courses are having to buy extra land to stay capable of hosting premier golf events?

This was genuinely the stupidest video I’ve ever watched

I’m buying enough golf balls before the change so that I will NEVER have to play the rolled back ball, I’m 66, figure I’ve got 20 more years of golf 🤞
