Today, for the 34th straight year, United Nations is debating the U.S. embargo against Cuba. How many more decades will we cling to a failed Cold War policy that hurts ordinary Cuban families? The Trump Administration must immediately end the economic asphyxiation of Cuba and enter real negotiations that provide dignity and freedom for the Cuban people. Cubans deserve to know the generosity of the American people and to live with hope for the future.
