If that thing bad for human why not do remote switch ?

Why don't they simply connect the longer wire outside of the room. Or just have the switch outside of the room? Why?????

make UV lamp with TIMER switch, no? we have the technology!

Put the switch outside the room. Simple

This looks dumb to me. Why running like you are under attack when you can work a switch outside the room

Why not use an extended cable and operate it from other room?

Lady did this guy dirty

They know so much about science, yet they don't know to place the switch outside the room.

This is a load of bullshit. I have one of these lamps. They have a 30-60 second switch-on delay and can be turned off remotely. UVC is immediately hazardous to both skin and eyes. Nobody would risk exposure even for a few seconds.

During Covid, my company provided us with the UV lights so we can stirelize machines before working on them, then late at night around 9pm, my eyes started itching with five minutes I was blind, I couldnt open them at all, I couldnt move the eye balls.

why is there no remote or smart plug kinda dumb a f

Ridiculous. Why they don’t use a remote or a extension cord to plug and unplug it?

It's "cell membrane" in bacteria. "Cell wall" is for plant cells.

Btw far-UVC (222 nm) from excimer lamps is now available for air and surface disinfection in occupied spaces. Because its wavelength is absorbed by the dead layer of skin (stratum corneum) and the tear film, the risk of damage to living cells is much lower than that of classic 254 nm UVC so some hospitals and schools have begun using upper-room far-UVC systems without having to evacuate the room.

The cameraman:

What’s the logic here people? Nurses turn on and run from the UV lamp because it kills the bacteria and viruses on them 🤨 . SMFH

New invention? Delay second switch on UV Sterilization lamps? that was easy

Running doesn’t help. Look at the Demon Core case. This is probably just for theatrics and most of them are automated or not as dangerous as this video claims.

Time to deploy robots for the task

Lol 🤣😅🤣 that are just being dramatic, something that they would have connect to a remote control and you can turn it on or off from outside the room

Why you no put outside? You big dum dum? Not yum yum! No! You go now!

surely there's a more efficient way to do this

UVC smart guys

why not using a wireless switch? dumbos!

Put the fucking switch outside the room.

i partially lose sight of my right eye while fiddling with this:

But why this doesn't have a remote switch??

@grok what’s the difference between this wavelength and the once commercially available.

Remote control?

UV-C light wrecks microbial DNA by creating thymine dimers. Elegant way to sterilize without chemicals.

Just protect the eyes. It uv not gamma
