I began my working trip to the Odesa region by holding a coordination meeting with the Command of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, focused on security issues in the southern region. Primary attention was given to countering constant Russian air attacks with “shaheds” and missiles, as well as readiness to respond to threats at sea. We also addressed our deep-strike operations, strengthening communication systems, mine countermeasure capabilities, and training and equipping naval infantry. We discussed increasing the number of helicopters to enhance air defense in the region and counter drone threats. The military officials presented the technical strike capabilities of the Naval Forces: Neptune and Harpoon missile systems, new-generation unmanned systems and torpedoes. During the meeting, we identified what is still needed to further strengthen the combat capabilities of the Navy. I thank everyone working for the security and strength of the region.

The agenda included planning our actions, readiness to respond to Russian strikes, and taking preventive measures, which means increasing the production of our own drones and missiles. We are also preparing new agreements with our European partners in the near future, to attract investment into Ukrainian production. First and foremost, this means the production of unmanned systems and long-range capabilities — everything that allows us to maintain control on the front lines, protect the lives of our warriors, and operate at significant distances. The prospect is to respond symmetrically to all Russian threats. They in Russia must feel the consequences of what they are doing against Ukraine. And they will.

Why did Pakistan not use Modern Air Defence Systems to Shoot Indian Drones A widely asked question is that why Pakistan did not use its modern Air Defence System to target Indian drones. Because all India wanted to know was location of our modern Air Defence Systems including radars by sending their drones so that it can neutralize them & then send its aircrafts to avenge its humiliation suffered by losing at least five Fighters But Pak sensed the plot & did not fall prey to it. From small FPVs to large UAVs, millions of unmanned systems are set to be inducted into the Indian armed forces in the next 5 years. 🇮🇳 Details- 🔽 The Indian Army sits at the centre of this shift. Over 1,00,000 drone operatives have already been trained & are being equipped with FPV strike drones, swarm systems, loitering munitions & long range UAVs. Dedicated Shaktibaan Regiments will anchor large scale unmanned warfare, while Ashni platoons are being embedded across 385 infantry battalions. light commando forces like Bhairav will also employ unmanned systems for ISR, targeting & precision strike. - Indian Air force is already doing mass induction of unmanned platforms for long range ISR, deep strike, ew & special missions, integrating UAVs into both peacetime surveillance & high intensity conflict situations. - Indian Navy is also rapidly transitioning towards unmanned ops across the maritime domain, with large numbers of airborne, surface & underwater unmanned systems planned for maritime surveillance, ASW, mine countermeasures & strike support roles. - The Indian Coast Guard will increasingly depend on unmanned systems for persistent maritime domain awareness, EEZ monitoring, coastal security & search & rescue missions. Apart from this, paramilitary & central armed police forces under the Ministry of Home Affairs are also set to induct unmanned systems at scale for border surveillance, CI, internal security, convoy protection & urban ops needs. When combined- • Small FPV & short-range drones • Swarm systems • Loitering munitions of varying ranges • Long-range ISR & strike UAVs • Ground based unmanned systems • Underwater unmanned platforms • Unmanned Surface Vessels Will be in service with the Indian forces. Dozens of dedicated tech & warfare centres have already been established to train soldiers across 30+ niche & emerging technologies. A large scale effort is underway to train troops in drone ops, cyber warfare, Ai & EW. This is being backed by advanced infra, embedded R&D units & simulation based training facilities, with a stated objective of complete absorption of these technologies across force by 2030. India is realistically looking at well over a million+ new unmanned systems in service over the next 5 years.

‼️ China is learning modern warfare and recognizes that today’s wars are wars of drones. That’s why the country is actively pursuing innovation in this field. In the city of Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, the PLA Air Force held a military technology competition titled “Countering Drones - 2025.” The event is part of a major PLA Air Force program focused on developing counter-drone systems. Its goal is to stimulate technological innovation in this area and to shape a new generation of integrated air defense capabilities. A total of 109 teams from military units, research institutes, and civilian enterprises participated. They presented 144 projects, including interception systems, electronic warfare tools, detection systems, and autonomous control technologies. Forty-four interceptor drones underwent field testing - practical exercises in neutralizing unmanned aerial vehicles. Organizers emphasized that the purpose of the competition is to accelerate the integration of military and civilian technologies in drone warfare, create a platform for “military startups,” and identify promising solutions for rapid implementation in the armed forces.

The Saint Paul Police Department has been using unmanned aircraft systems, or drones, since 2023. This technology provides officers with real-time information from above an active scene. Now in 2026, we’re expanding our drone program to help all first responders. Our team of trained drone pilots can now provide a live thermal view above a fire – allowing the Saint Paul Fire Dept to identify hot spots and develop the best plan of action. There are now two drone options: • A Saint Paul Police officer, who is also a trained and authorized drone pilot, can respond and launch a drone at the scene. • Or we can deploy one of our three new docked drones. Docked drones are remotely piloted, can be on scene in less than 3 minutes, and being to relay real-time information to responding officers or firefighters before they even arrive. Together with Emmanuel Macron, we signed a Declaration of Intent on Cooperation in the Acquisition of Defense Equipment for Ukraine. This document enables Ukraine to procure military equipment from France’s defense industrial and technological base, including 100 Rafale F4 aircraft by 2035 for Ukraine’s combat aviation, SAMP/T air-defense systems, air-defense radars, air-to-air missiles, and aerial bombs. Joint projects between our defense sectors will also begin this year – we will co-produce interceptor drones and work on developing critical technologies and components that can be integrated into Ukrainian drones. New aircraft, new reinforcements, new steps to strengthen our army and our country. I am deeply grateful to France, President Emmanuel Macron, and all the French people.

Participants explored Tesla’s ecosystem firsthand, including electric vehicles, Megapack, Powerwall, Solar systems, and Supercharging infrastructure. Tesla engineers and product teams were on site to demonstrate current and next-generation products while facilitating discussions on responder and public safety. “Tesla reached out and said they wanted to bring in their engineers, their teams, and actual Tesla products, not just what’s on the road today, but what’s coming tomorrow,” said Fire Chief Dan Munsey. “This training gave our firefighters a chance to engage directly with the technology, ask the tough safety questions, and talk through the best ways to keep both responders and the public safe as the renewable energy industry continues to grow.” The event marked the first time Tesla has held this type of training event on the west coast. The only previous event of its kind was hosted in New York City with FDNY. Tesla brought production models, prototypes, and a full suite of energy storage components to the training grounds.
