The Sleeping Dragon In recent days, I have received threatening messages. As a result, I conducted a search to find out who, particularly in Europe—and especially in Germany—are acting as lobbyists for the Taliban. I discovered that a number of media figures and so-called civil activists have, in fact,... taken on the role of covert supporters of this terrorist group. One prominent figure among them is Emran Feroz, who, under the guise of journalism, is effectively recognized as one of the main Taliban lobbyists in Europe. The presence and activities of such individuals pose a serious and alarming threat—especially to women, human rights defenders, and victims of Taliban violence. We fled our homeland to escape the Taliban’s terror and brutality, yet even in exile, we are not safe from their shadow of influence and threats. No individual or group should be allowed to freely lobby for a terrorist organization in a country like Germany, which stands for freedom, human rights, and justice. We expect the German judiciary, media, and parliament to address the actions of such individuals with diligence and seriousness. Silence in the face of this danger means legitimizing the Taliban’s quiet and gradual infiltration into free societies. We will not be silenced. With all our strength—and through legal and civil avenues—we will stand against lobbying for the Taliban on European soil. This is a duty we carry and a responsibility the international community must not ignore. @ABaerbock Lars Løkke Rasmussen Cem Özdemir UN in Deutschland Hannah Neumann اژدهای خفته در روزهای اخیر، پیام‌های تهدیدآمیزی دریافت کرده‌ام؛ به همین دلیل، جست‌وجویی انجام دادم تا دریابم چه کسانی در اروپا، به‌ویژه در آلمان، به‌عنوان لابی‌گران گروه طالبان فعالیت می‌کنند. دریافتم که شماری از چهره‌های رسانه‌ای و به‌ظاهر فعالان مدنی، در حقیقت در نقش حامیان پنهان این گروه تروریستی ظاهر شده‌اند. یکی از چهره‌های شاخص در این میان، عمران فیروز است که با پوشش خبرنگار، عملاً به‌عنوان یکی از لابی‌گران اصلی طالبان در اروپا شناخته می‌شود. حضور و فعالیت چنین افرادی، به‌ویژه برای زنان، فعالان حقوق بشر و قربانیان خشونت‌های طالبان، تهدیدی جدی و نگران‌کننده به‌شمار می‌رود. ما از رعب و وحشت طالبان از کشور خود گریختیم، اما امروز، حتی در تبعید نیز از سایه تهدید و نفوذ آن‌ها در امان نیستیم. هیچ فرد یا گروهی نباید در کشوری مانند آلمان، که مدافع آزادی، حقوق بشر و عدالت است، اجازه یابد که به‌صورت آزادانه برای یک گروه تروریستی لابی‌گری کند. ما از نهادهای قضایی، رسانه‌ای و پارلمان آلمان انتظار داریم که با دقت و جدیت به فعالیت این‌گونه افراد رسیدگی کنند. سکوت در برابر این خطر، به‌معنای مشروعیت‌بخشی به نفوذ آرام و تدریجی طالبان در دل جوامع آزاد است. ما صدای خود را خاموش نخواهیم کرد. با تمام توان، از راه‌های قانونی و مدنی، علیه لابی‌گری برای طالبان در خاک اروپا ایستادگی خواهیم کرد. این وظیفه‌ای است بر دوش ما و مسئولیتی است بر عهده جامعه بین‌المللی.show more
