TZ Hoops is lunch pail basketball Go to work, prepare, play hard as a team. No one cares who scores, only that the team does. Preventing points is equal to scoring them. The flashiest highlight is the final scoreboard. Get paid in wins. Great work & coverage Kevin, thank you!!

TZ and George won 1 or 2 games his second year coaching. He was the same guy who loved his players and cared just as much. Well done George. Our family is so happy for you.

Great job Kevin! Thanks for all you do for the HS sports. It was a truly amazing season with Tappan Zee Dutchman. The boys never gave up and gave it their all every game! Defense and grit wins games.

Brakel has coached his entire 28 years at North Crowley, where he's compiled an 828-163 all-time record. He's coached at the McDonald's All-American Game and USA Basketball Global Games. Brakel is one of the UIL's top 100 Basketball coaches of all time and is our Parker University Boys Basketball Coach of the Year.

Players also can’t conceptualize the amount of time they have the ball in their hands in a game. They think it’s exponentially more than it actually is. The ball is glorified, and rightfully so, but what are we doing with the other 95%? Do be ELITE REQUIRES impacting the game without the basketball.
