The hotel I recently purchased came with a restaurant. I’m about to beautify, update, renovate and improve the entire space. The entire process has been enjoyable up to this point. I appreciate all of the subcontractors and teams of ppl I’ve built over the years. All success is built on the team you assemble and work with. Everyone plays their respective role, everyone delivers on a strict timeline and it all contributes to the overall outcome and goal. I’ll start to do more posting of the process. I’ve been too busy working and forgetting to post the content I’ve gathered. It’s a lot of work to do and it’s far from over. I thought this was a cool look of where it’s started to where it’s going!!! #ChampionsBridge

I called this out yesterday on @itiswhatitis_talk when I was discussing why I’m rooting for Michigan with Cameron Giles Treasure Wilson and MA$E I don’t care what team you’ve played for and I don’t care what sport you’ve played. Jim Harbaugh and any other coach who has the balls to talk like this while on the national stage has to be celebrated and commended. He’s advancing the conversation and forcing people to have discussions about revenue and throwing out possible solutions for players to benefit. He’s now my favorite college coach after Jim Tressel. I don’t care about any rivalry that much. I care about the advancement of the sport. I was essentially suspended for improper benefits which derived from not having money. I understand and lived the downside of this. There’s lots of kids in similar situations. Much respect to Harbaugh and good luck to Michigan on Monday. I hope they win and he sings this message louder. I’m a Big 10 fan after Ohio State is out of the running. Steven Clinkscale is also like my older brother. We played for the same little league team as kids. Our entire families know one another. #youngstownboys

It’s my personal opinion that if Kalen Deboer continues to struggle down in Tuscaloosa and that if it became known that Jon Gruden was interested in coaching at Bama that they’d happily pay that buyout of $70 million and bring Gruden in. Alabama has taken a backseat to Texas and Georgia. I can’t imagine that, that sits well with their board of trustees, fan bases and overall brand. Football generates tons of revenue for these towns. You have to have a great product to advertise and get people excited about. You have to have recruits and you need to raise money. All of that starts and ends with football in Bama. I wish the best of luck to Deboer but premium coaching roles bring premium pressure. What’s yall thoughts? @brianinkrottofficial

This segment was spoken out of love and experience. It took me years to get sober and stay sober. I went through plenty of episodes like AB but the cameras weren’t on. It was probably one of the toughest things to personally overcome. It took me years to realize that drinking and drugging wasn’t for me. At the core of my addiction, I was running from reality and hated to admit it. I would try to mask my drinking/drugging as social but at the root it was just me masking my problems. One of the greatest things I did was get sober. I hope AB gets there and reclaims his health and wellness. He will be better for it. I’m better for it. I wouldn’t be doing anything I’m doing today if I was still drinking/drugging. No doubt about that. AB is an Ohio Boy so I’m rooting for him. I don’t judge it. I understand it.

I believe Nick Saban is saying this because he once was a coach and realizes how silly the narrative has become about a coach that’s won 90% of his games. He knows that fans want to win but don’t have to get as silly as they’ve been. He can’t come out and say it but he intentionally said 🐂 💩 …..: I know and knew what he meant. Yesterday was phenomenal. This was my first day back on the sideline since August 30th 2003. Special thanks to Coach Day Ryan Day for making it all possible. Being back around the program is spiritually rewarding. Sports are pure. It’s the ultimate reality TV. I love the energy, competitiveness, noise, aggression and all things that go into playing football. I’m at a place in life where the things I value are the things you can’t buy and this experience/reality is one of them. Watching the players and coaches get ready for the game had me excited and ready to run out the tunnel. There’s nothing like it. There’s nothing close to the Ohio State fan base. Ohio State Football Special thx to my dawg Alex Allen for rolling with me and having the ability to capture these moments. 🫡

Upon purchasing the property, I thought it was extremely important to begin to renovate the entrance and the front desk first because I wanted to set a standard and begin to establish an expectation on where the rest of the property would aesthetically go. We were able to start the landscaping. We still have a bunch of miscellaneous items to clean up in the lobby but guests can see there’s an investment that’s being made to transform the property and the space into something better than what it was before. I care about everything from countertops, vent covers, coffee stands, correct size toilets, towel racks, door handles, item on desk, position of security camera, smell of place, color of signage that will go up, how people are greeted etc etc etc…. We are a long way from being done but I’ll clean up all items that need cleaned up and I’ll be happy to present a product that I can be proud of to guests/tenants. #ChampionsBridge Take pride in all that you do. Snapple Facts 1. Never recruited by Ohio State. 2. I was so confident in my ability as a player that I called OSU up and told them I was committing to their school without an offer. They didn’t say yes or no. Tressel laughed and was like … “I guess”. 3. The whole “graduate in January” from high school started from me trying to graduate my junior year. I had so much success my junior year that I said I didn’t want to return my senior year and that I wanted to go to college. I couldn’t graduate because I didn’t have all of my English credits. I took my senior English class in the summer of my junior year and that positioned me to leave after senior year of football. Once I knew I was good I was on a mission to get to college because Youngstown was so wild. 4. I was 4th on the depth chart up until 2 weeks before the season. I played a lot of special teams and scout team. Scout team was how I got better. I never knew that our defense would be #1 in the country that year. I had an entire spring/fall practicing against them. That’s what ultimately made me better. Scout team reps are gold to a wise man and trash to a player with an ego. Reps get you better… doesn’t matter if it’s scout team or with the ones. You need reps to gain experience and wisdom. 5. I talk passionately about player compensation because me not being able to afford a transmission for my car ultimately altered my collegiate experience. I helped generate 10’s of millions of dollars to a college in many ways but couldn’t pay $2k to get a car fixed to get back and forth to school. That sent me searching for alternatives. When you generate that much money you shouldn’t be in a position to have to search alternative ways…. That’s why I’m happy for NIL but we still have a long way to go with distribution of revenue in the collegiate space. 6. Football was and still is a means to an end for a lot of us players. Listen to the words I say in the beginning of the video. I don’t say “I love football”. I say “I love hard work and I happen to be good at football”. At the core of it I love progress and I have work ethic. Whatever vehicle is going to help me achieve my dreams I’m rolling with it.

I get the question everyday as to what my role, title or position is/was on the team. To be clear… I didn’t have one and thank God Coach Day didn’t give me a role because it allowed me to add value, speak freely and contribute wherever I seen it to be necessary. Ohio State Football Ryan Day Thanks again to UConn Men's Basketball for allowing me to exist in a very similar capacity. Coach Hurley and the crew sort of started me out in this space. I learned a ton about being a champion from being in that environment and I’ve been able to share it with others I’ve come in contact with…... I talk about them at the end of this video. Dan Hurley But most importantly thanks to my main man Jim Tressel for creating the sit down between me and Coach Day last summer. His finger print and handprint is on this whole deal. He doesn’t search for any credit but I’ll give it to him. Im proud to have first class relationships with top tier individuals. Video credit is to the wonderful Holly Rowe …. As I get older I realize that having the foresight and wisdom to avoid conflict is better than getting in conflict on any level. Real conflict has the potential for so many unforeseen crazy variables that a wiseman doesn’t want to deal with so it’s best to avoid them as much as possible. Only fools like nonsense. Life is risk management and decision management. Everyone ends up where they are based on a series of consistent decisions…. Be them good or bad.

We are making progress on the interior and exterior of the building. It’s a spiritual journey for me when you’re renovating properties. I enjoy the thought of cleaning up something old and creating something new. As you see the space start to transform into what was once in your mind it inspires you to believe that you can do anything….. I believe once the shingles are replaced with all black ones, windows tinted appropriately, new signage goes up and once the updated fence is installed that the exterior will look great. Im excited about it everyday!

OBJ sounded crazy answering Ryan Clarke question about PED’s on Pivot Podcast … I don’t know how he thought it sounded in his mind but all of the explaining around the question and all of the self deprecation about other stuff was the red flag. IMO he got off his path because he became a celebrity within the game@of football. He started enjoying the fruits of his labor and his career didn’t end the way he wanted to. In an attempt to get it back on track he tried to take PED’s and got caught. There’s no conspiracy theory or anything else special that happened. The end. Made him look crazier when he tried to explain it away. Just my thoughts. Great athlete and I’m sure a great person. Sometimes it’s just cleaner to say “I made a bad choice and move on”. @itiswhatitis_talk

I’m building and renovating something I’d be proud of and I’d stay in myself. I won’t cut any corners with putting this place back together. All renovations are a direct representation of the person who owns the real estate…. That’s my mentality for life. #ChampionsBridge

This might be your best work right here OG aka Tim walton … I look forward to these every week. I listen to your messages just as much as the young guys. These kids win because of the adults that are around them. Lots of coaches who care, are passionate and connected to these kids. I see it, live it and I’m around it weekly. This is culture. I’m of the camp who wishes and hopes that Sebastian Telfair gets back on track for himself and for his kids who depend on him. I can recall me going through life and financial hardship and it wasn’t pretty. There was a lot of struggle I battled publicly and didn’t know how to manage my life for a period of time. I don’t know how he’s gotten to where he’s at. The fact is that he’s there and he has to do something about it. That mentality of dealing with reality and getting up daily to change my situation is what got me to where I’m at. Sometimes things are what they are…. You have to get back on your feet and get your life in order. I don’t have to say I told you so to the people who counted me out or laughed at me. All I have to do is exist and live. The results show themselves over time. It’s better to get back up, have class, laugh in the back of your mind and help others. Losers who wish hell on your life have internal issues. Anyone who’s dealt with life knows the ups and downs of it and doesn’t laugh at others hardships! @itiswhatitis_talk

Everything and everyone matters when you’re pursuing greatness and trying to get the most out of players on a team. We are fortunate to have the coaching staff we have. The coaches put in 2-3x the work in preparation as players. I appreciate Coach Tim Walton putting the effort into these moments to create more connection with the young guys. These moments are why these young guys go out and go all out for him. There’s lots that goes into running a team. You need all coaches and players moving in the right direction. All coaches have different styles and techniques to create connection. It’s cool that this is one of them. Ohio State Football
