We have recently approved the construction of a fourth dual carriageway: the dualisation of the Ekwulobia-Nnobi Road (32.6 km). With this project, the four major cities of Anambra will at last be linked by modern dual carriageways, completing the Anambra Beltway and unlocking faster, safer, and more seamless movement for everyone. The only reason they are going back and forth with their protest is because we decided not to join them, they know what we are made of, guns and bullets have never stoped us at anytime, we are Biafrans, we are not Nigerians, we are not our ancestors, we will stop at nothing to get to our destination which is complete and total liberation. We do not want a better Nigeria, what we want is Biafra and we must get Biafra.

Today, I have ordered the shut down of the Onitsha Main Market for one week due to the protracted economic sabotage cloaked as "Monday sit-at-home". Going forward, this order would apply to any other market in Anambra that shuts down on Monday. This action is not taken lightly, as I am determined to protect the economic interests of our state and its people. No individual or group has the right to halt the lives and livelihood of the people. I urge all traders and market stakeholders to disregard this call to economic sabotage and resume business as usual. Let us work together to build a prosperous Anambra. To those who continue to aid and abet this economic sabotage, I warn that we will not tolerate it any further. Our government will take all necessary measures to ensure the security and safety of lives and property in the state. 3 hours drive from us, war is still being fought. Today Palmyra was bombed and 68 people are dead. No one counts the animals. Because we are not under bombing in Idlib, people have stopped donating and we are facing a huge crisis in our funding. There is no improvement in the lives of the animals in Syria, and without funding we aren't able to help them anymore. We cannot send our mobile clinics out, because we have no funding. We cannot feed street animals because we can't afford to. We cannot send out rescue teams. We have lower donations now than we have ever had and our essential costs are the same now as they were before December 8th when the regime fell. Please, please will you reconsider reinstating your cancelled donations and giving us your support again? Without you we cannot help any of the ones who desperately need our aid. Soon we may need to reconsider our mission in Syria. We have always shared our good and bad news with you. Just now, our options are slowly disappearing.
