Then I asked them why she is a good teacher. They immediately answered that she listens to them, she teaches them with love and affection, she is kind to them, and she allows them to have fun while studying. The student said it was meant to teach students how to respond if ICE ever came to the class—and how white students needed to use their bodies to "cover" and "shield" other students who may be likely targets of immigration enforcement.
