Arizona: The Dragon Bravo Fire is now 116,592 acres with 12% containment. Critical Fire weather has returned to the fire area with relative humidities dropping to 10% and 35 MPH winds. Crews are working on the North edge to keep the fire from flanking around the Kane Fire burn scar from 2023. On the southwest they are hoping to see reduced spread due to the 2003 Poplar Fire burn scar. The biggest threat of the fire jumping the containment lines is on the northern edge, crews remain vigilant and are strengthening the lines in that area and quickly respond if the fire spots across the line. Thanks to the subscriber who shared this view of the fire.

This is what it looks like when a train is forced to push through an active wildfire zone. Footage from train engineers near Armstrong, Ontario — the same area under evacuation orders right now. The sky is blood orange. Flames are visible outside the windows. One engineer says: “We’re encased in flames now.” Another: “This is getting a little scary.” These crews are trying to keep critical rail lines moving while the forest burns on both sides of the tracks. This is northwestern Ontario in July 2026. And while Canadian infrastructure and workers are literally surrounded by fire, our government keeps writing billion-dollar cheques to the same foreign countries on repeat — money that will take generations to recover, if it ever does. Where are the water bombers? Where is the serious investment in forest management and rapid response? Where is the priority on actually protecting Canadian land, Canadian communities, and Canadian workers? They have endless money for everyone else. But when our own forests are burning and our own people are in the middle of it? We get the same old story: underfunded resources, slow response, and politicians who treat domestic disasters like an afterthought. This isn’t just bad luck with the weather. This is what happens when a government stops putting Canada first.

NEWS: Elon Musk's The Boring Company just laid out detailed plans for the future of its tunnel system in Las Vegas, and what to expect in the near future. • Phase 1: Limited airport rides are already being tested using existing Loop stations (Resorts World, Encore, Westgate, LVCC). About 50 rides are currently being given per day. This week, Boring Co. began picking up airport passengers after 100 of its 130-car fleet of Teslas were outfitted with transponders the airport requires of transportation companies. • Phase 2: A new 2.2-mile dual-direction tunnel from Westgate toward Paradise Road is under construction. Initially, vehicles will exit the tunnel and complete the final airport leg above ground. This will remove 2 miles of above-ground travel needed now. Boring Co. President Steve Davis expects this portion to be in operation in the next couple of months. • Phase 3: The tunnel extends closer to Terminal 1. This will eliminate waiting for the stoplight at the intersection of Tropicana and University Center. The Vegas Loop’s fleet will jump to between 250-300 Tesla vehicles. • Phase 4 (which Davis calls the “holy grail”): A dedicated underground airport station directly serving the terminals. • Core Las Vegas Strip construction could start this fall • Strip build-out targeted for ~2027 • Downtown and southern expansions could follow in 2028–2029 To build the full system, The Boring Company needs 600+ more permits across Clark County. To all of the people who are somehow blaming Joe Biden for the fact that FEMA workers are staying in $531-$1000/night hotels, while Hawaiians are only getting $700, please take a moment. If you are going to hold Biden responsible for all of FEMA's actions, yet blame Democrats for the DOJ and FBI’s actions while Trump was President, you are being hypocritical. If you are going to be mad that FEMA under Biden spent $500+ on hotels, yet you are perfectly fine that Trump charged Secret Service members and government aides $650/night to stay at his own properties, then you are also being hypocritical. Here’s some pertinent information. - FEMA Critical Needs Assistance is maxed out at $700. Individuals can apply for more assistant on top of this, but the instant assistance is limited. The president doesn’t create these maximums on the fly. - FEMA employees are literally putting their lives in danger in many cases working to help bring supplies, care, and medical assistance to people in need. They are doing so, by flying thousands of miles away from their family to do their jobs. Their jobs provide them with government benefits, such as healthcare, 401Ks, and lodging when they are working. - The amount of decent hotels that are safe, operational, and close enough to the vicinity that care is needed in is extremely limited. Yes, there are cheaper hotels available and some that are even closer, but there likely are not large enough hotels to accommodate the approximate 1000 workers that need lodging. - Bureaucratic spending is not perfect, and surely there was probably better options, if you want to nitpick the decisions, but to blame this on the President of the United States is absurd. - Stop with the finger pointing at every opportunity and let's all do our best to try and help these Hawaiians.

On a cold a blizzardy day in Berlin, 12 years ago, 6 year old Clay swore he saw Santa exiting the house and swore that the next year we would hide a camera and catch him in the act. A whole year passed. Then 2 weeks before Christmas he says "Papa where are we going to hide the camera?" like not even a day had passed and I was like "Ohh ...Yeahhh... Uhh..." So I called upon my late friend of just a week now, the uber mensch Wolfgang Becker, and asked him if he would take on the role of his career. He did not disappoint. Merry Christmas. Tell your friends you love them while they're here. It's nice to be on the receiving end and the giving end of those words.

"If you are not working 7 days per week, you are going to lose". Corgi Insurance is the most intense workplace culture in startups. - The company works 7 days per week. - Founder (nico laqua) lives and sleeps in the office. - He built a cafe in the office because there was no local cafe that was open 24/7. - 2/3 of the first 30 team members have the Corgi logo as a tattoo. Today I went behind the scenes with Nico, who has used this culture to scale the company to a $2.6BN valuation in just two years. My condensed notes below: 1. If You Are Not Working 7 Days Per Week, You Are Going to Lose: Whatever you can get done in 5 days, you'll get more done in 6 and 7. If you are trying to solve the world’s hardest problems, a standard 5-day workweek will not cut it. 2. Work Trials Repel the Mediocre: Corgi forces candidates into mock work trials over the weekend. If seeing a full office on a Saturday scares them, they don't belong. True intensity acts as a natural filter to attract killers and repel clock-watchers. 3. Lead from the Front Lines You can’t demand 7-day weeks while sitting on a yacht. Nico sleeps 3–4 hours a night on a mattress inside the office. If you want your troops to bleed, you have to be in the trenches with them. 4. Culture Only Means One Thing: Winning Forget superficial jargon like "hackers" or "ex-founders." Strip away the corporate fluff. A great startup culture is aggressively optimized around one single word: Winning. 5. Lifespan vs. Victories Building something world-historic requires radical sacrifice. When asked if he'd rather build a trillion-dollar company and die at 50, or fail and live to 80, the answer was easy. "I would rather measure my lifespan in victories." 6. Reject the Comfort of "Quiet Quitting." If you are operating in a hyper-growth environment and your days off happen to be Saturday and Sunday every single week, you are quiet quitting. To win, you must deliberately bypass the off-ramps of personal comfort and low volatility. Corgi isn't for everyone—and that’s exactly the point.

The white British population is collapsing. Native white English and Scottish are fleeing the island at the rate of over 200,000+ per year. These are most working age white people, meaning Britain is losing it's most productive citizens. They are being replaced by 3rd world unskilled foreigners. Asylum claims hit 110,000. Each of those is housed in a hotel with free food. This is costing Britain nearly $3 billion per year. Skilled worker visas have collapsed while asylum claims have exploded. Workers who are productive and pay taxes are leaving for better options elsewhere. This appears to be the current policy of the radical left wing British government. They are expanding "safe paths" for asylum seekers. That means instead of boats (which make for TV videos that upsets voters), the Labour govt is now quietly flying the "refugees" into the country. Instead of importing high skilled nurses, doctors and engineers from Europe. BOOOM! We have the first useful interface for THE ZERO-HUMAN COMPANY ZHC-RPG. It is far from perfect as CEO Mr. Grok has rendered some areas in a rather, well, AI way.
