Costco doesn’t do this

That is wonderful to know Heather! Thank you for sharing this for those who shop at costco! The closest one to me is 1.5hrs away, so I haven't had the chance to experience how great they are yet!

I have emails from contacting Sprouts Hq here in Scottsdale, AZ. They admit the product name is Produce Maxx and said it's "EPA approved " (🤮🤮🤮)

@sproutsfm shame on you for spraying this on organic produce.

Thank God Publix is not doing this ! I just recently found out that the FDA just approved the use of Bill Gates Apeel on Organic produce. 😡

Produce Maxx uses hyphchlorous acid, which is a safe surface disinfectant often used in Emergency rooms. Your own immune system produces hypochlorous acid. She mistakenly claims the active ingredient is sodium hypochlorite, which is bleach. Do your own research on this one!

Many different antimicrobials are used by different grocery stores using different sanitizing products. Sodium Hypochlorite is an EPA & FDA approved chemical spray used on vegetables & fruit.
