The Twelve Kingdoms (2002)

still think about the world building in this show daily, actually insane how much depth it had for its time

Underrated Isekai before Isekai became famous

Great anime that never finished. Was supposed to get another 22 episodes. DAMNIT!

POV: You cut me off in traffic in ancient China fantasy land This anime don't play. 10/10 would get yeeted by a sword again

異世界作品の最高傑作！

I don't remember this scene, that being said, I watched it quite a while ago lol.

! That Twelve Kingdoms OP still hits different The animation, the music, the sheer epic fantasy vibes... pure 2000s isekai royalty. What a timeless classic! Who's rewatching it right now?

Still hate how the series ended 🙄🙄🙄

Deep worldbuilding with real consequences, it trusts you to grow with it

Underrated masterpiece of a show. Would love to see a remake!

It's a good classic! You can watch it for free on Tubi right now for anyone interested in old school anime.

I watched some dubbed episodes on TV but I hated it lol

I never really got this anime. I can't even articulate what bugged me about it, it's all a jumbled mess.

Omg I literally just layed down and put it on then I open twitter to see this wtfff

I loved this show so much.

Lets gooooooooo

So peak

A favorite of mine that probably deserves to be remade and completed more than any other show. The LNs are also fantastic. Top notch world building and characters.
