It is utterly ridiculous that this has been allowed to go ahead. Experimenting on children is quite clearly deeply unethical; an experiment involving LLMs - which do not understand anything whatsoever, and cannot grasp any topic - *teaching human children* is disturbing and wrong.

For the last 2-3 years I've been taking French on Duolingo, a program solely AI reliant. At times it gives me customized lessons to address my weak areas. Funny enough, the topics are rather my strong areas; whereas it doesn't catch my weak areas. My point: AI isn't infallible.

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. -AI isn't perfect. -Virtual classes can be found online and there's a growing market. -Just another instance of cutting costs and (blind) tech-based trend-chasing. #HomeschoolingAdvert
