It is utterly ridiculous that this has been allowed to go ahead. Experimenting on children is quite clearly deeply unethical; an experiment involving LLMs - which do not understand anything whatsoever, and cannot grasp any topic - *teaching human children* is disturbing and wrong.

For the last 2-3 years I've been taking French on Duolingo, a program solely AI reliant. At times it gives me customized lessons to address my weak areas. Funny enough, the topics are rather my strong areas; whereas it doesn't catch my weak areas. My point: AI isn't infallible.

You think this is bad. Wait until there's AI police officers.

What a nightmare.

Dehumanising education with programmed machines… Can’t even Imagine my children spelling strawberry with two Rs

And what about Jobs? this school made many teachers jobless. Better not introsuce AI everuwhere. No AI can match the learnings that kids will get in in person teacher interaction

So great that kids can spend even more time looking at screens, because that's something they are surely not getting enough of !

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. -AI isn't perfect. -Virtual classes can be found online and there's a growing market. -Just another instance of cutting costs and (blind) tech-based trend-chasing. #HomeschoolingAdvert

What could possibly go wrong with this?!?

Madness. What about learning about social interaction and people skills? We’re doomed 🤦🏻♂️
