Ukrainians understood long ago that NATO would not close our skies. But look: Ukraine had no weapons at the beginning of the full-scale war in 2022, and now, in 2026, Ukrainian drones are striking targets deep in Russia’s Ural, while Putin is afraid to hold a military parade on Red Square in Moscow without extraordinary security measures. Ukraine is now helping strengthen air defense systems in the Middle East through our battlefield experience and technological expertise, and is a strategic partner for countries in that region.
