Sebaashray was organised to ensure that their healthcare concerns were addressed with urgency and dignity. From a routine check-up at the Sebaashray camp to specialised care beyond it, Aarti Bera’s journey reflects what this initiative truly stands for. Identified at the Nandigram Block 2 camp as requiring advanced treatment, she was carefully referred and has now successfully undergone laser surgery for her eyes, completely free of cost. From the camps in Nandigram Block 1 and Block 2, several others who needed further eye care were supported every step of the way. Six residents from Block 1 and eight from Block 2 have since completed cataract surgeries at Kalyani Eye Care, without bearing any financial burden. When I see citizens regain their vision and return to their daily lives with confidence, it reminds me why we continue this work.

The Congress is remarkably predictable. When they win, EVMs are reliable. When they lose, EVMs are hacked. When a judgment goes their way, the judiciary is independent. When Sonam Wangchuk was attacking the Government, he was a hero. The moment he called for Parliament to function and demanded serious systemic reforms, he became “compromised.” For the Congress, principles never matter. Only political convenience does.

Suspect vehicle and altercation - On October 12, 2024, Sheriff T.K. Waters, alongside Undersheriff Shawn Coarsey, joined Chief of Investigation Alan Parker to provide details leading up to the murder of one of our Corrections Officers. At approximately 1:20 a.m., in the 12900 block of Duval Road, a black Mustang occupied by a black male (suspect) and a female, were involved in a violent dispute. During the argument, the suspect was observed exiting the vehicle from the passenger seat and walking around to the driver’s side. The suspect then placed a black handgun on the hood of the vehicle and removed the female from the driver’s seat. The male proceeded to batter the female, violently throwing her against the vehicle and the ground. During the commotion, off-duty Corrections Officer Bradley McNew #7697, who just finished his shift, heard the disturbance and went to check on the female victim. The suspect approached Officer McNew, stating it was a family matter, then re-engaged with the female before pointing the gun in Officer McNew’s direction. The suspect and female eventually returned to the vehicle. As they left the scene, the suspect was observed hanging out of the window, firing the firearm, and ultimately striking Officer McNew. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. This is an ongoing investigation, and we ask the public to remain vigilant and consider the suspect armed and dangerous. The vehicle was reported heading northbound on Main Street towards Nassau County. It is a 2000s black Mustang with North Carolina license plate RHL-4285. Please do not approach the suspect or vehicle; call 911 immediately if observed.

The name of the police officer has not yet been revealed, but when it is known, we need to flood him with thanks. He did not wait for back up to arrive, he went right in and neutralized the threat. BJP has perfected the dirty art of voter roll tampering. They did the warm-up in Delhi and Maharashtra. Now they are playing the real match in Bengal. In Maharashtra, 43,84,814 voters were added in 5 years, and another 40,81,229 were added in just 5 months. In Delhi: 4,16,648 voters were added in 4 years, and another 3,99,362 were added in just 7 months. I had warned then that the real rigging is not in EVMs, it’s in the electoral rolls. Bengal is now witnessing exactly that. This video clearly shows cartons filled with fraudulent Form 6 applications being openly submitted at the Chief Electoral Officer’s office, and stacked on the third floor raising serious concerns about an attempt to illegally bring in voters from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh into Bengal’s electoral rolls. And it is shocking how the Election Commission of India has rolled over and allowed this conspiracy. Nowhere in the Election Commission’s rules is bulk submission of Form 6 permitted. The limit is clearly capped at 50 applications per individual. Yet here, thousands of forms are being submitted by just a handful of people- something that is not only a blatant violation of the rules but also strikes at the very foundation of a free and fair electoral process. We call ourselves the world’s largest democracy, yet the very custodian of our democratic rights is actively facilitating its sabotage. When BJP shouted “Paltano Dorkar”, they actually meant “VOTER ROLLS PALTANO DORKAR”. When they screamed “Poriborton”, they meant a DEMOGRAPHIC PORIBORTON, replacing Bengal’s own electorate with voters brought in from BJP-ruled states.

During the commotion, off-duty Corrections Officer Bradley McNew #7697, who just finished his shift, heard the disturbance and went to check on the female victim. The suspect approached Officer McNew, stating it was a family matter, then re-engaged with the female before pointing the gun in Officer McNew’s direction. The suspect and female eventually returned to the vehicle. As they left the scene, the suspect was observed hanging out of the window, firing the firearm, and ultimately striking Officer McNew. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. This is an ongoing investigation, and we ask the public to remain vigilant and consider the suspect armed and dangerous. The vehicle was reported heading northbound on Main Street towards Nassau County. It is a 2000 black Mustang with North Carolina license plate RHL-4285. Please do not approach the suspect or vehicle; call 911 immediately if observed.

Do not think we are fighting a fair fight. If you believe we are fighting against a political organization called BJP and RSS, they have captured almost every institution in our country. However, the Election Commission has refused to provide this information. Why would the Election Commission refuse to make the voters' list transparent? What purpose does it serve by not providing us with the list, and why are they withholding it? It is the Election Commission's duty to provide transparency, and it is their sacred responsibility to explain why this has happened. This is something that every congressman and every opposition member must keep in mind.
