Senator Onyonka: University education, primary school education, secondary school education in Kenya must be free. Why do I say so? We are giving the Ministry of Education 633 billion shillings a year. That is the money President Kibaki run this country the first year he took office and his second year. He paid teachers, doctors, lawyers, that is the budget of the Ministry of Education only. Where is the money going? Financial literacy in the education system in this country is a mess! It’s crazy. We should be teaching our kids about investing day one. You start by putting your money to work! Get it in the market, and learn all you can. One rule that has worked for me for the past 30 years of investing is the rule of diversification. The opportunity is to always have a plethora of different opportunities at any given time.
