I don’t understand how this is supposed to help? It’s basically just under the skin but it’s not holding anything together cuz the knots are gone so what’s the point? What am i missing?

I just mistakenly cut a tomato. So glad I saw this repair technique.

That looks like the stitch that closes bags of kibble. I never manage to pull the right bit and always resort to tearing it open.

I see people in the comments confused but like....this is the same as just making a really small stitch, bruh is just adding extra steps by making it loopy and undoing the loop. Like this is the kind of thing that happens when you tangle up your thread.

It's also called a running stitch. Same type of stitch you find on a cloth flour bag. It's also the same type of stitches that if you and a darn at each end can act like a coin purse stitch.

Why are we sewing a tomato? (That's a really cool stitch, and I wonder if it actually holds anything together, or if it's just like a trick shot: cool but of no practical value. ) But still ... why are we sewing a tomato?

You have nothing to do, right 🤔
