The video game aisle at Target in 2002

For a 90s kid, I have fond memories of times like this. Don’t forget what these corpo bastards are stealing from us.

I remember people going to the game stores just to hang out at the free game demos. It was like the same three people every time and they wasn't giving up the jack for nothing

I'd love to see something from the early to mid 90s Toys R Us. Those Nintendo aisles felt like they went on forever as a kid.

It’s crazy seeing all of the consoles out in the open. Nowadays something as cheap as mouthwash will be locked up behind a case.

I don't understand why they got rid of the nicer tall display cases, now you have to crouch on the floor to see games in those shorter cases. I'm only 4'10 and I find them too short 🤦‍♀️

No joke, I saw something like this a while ago but for the Switch 2. Granted, it only had demos available to play, but it was pretty cool to see the idea wasn’t lost to time.
