$I am very pleased to announce that I will be stepping down as President of the Ontario Association of Radiologists and moving into the role of Chair of the Board. Over my years as president we've seen medical imaging and interventional radiology rapidly progress in Ontario. Last year alone, the Ford government introduced 49 new MRI units into hospitals across the province. This year we'll see the rollout of private delivery of publicly funded MRI and CT outpatient facilities through Bill 60. This coming year, in partnership with the Ford government, we hope to expand vertebroplasty services allowing for quick and effective treatment of osteoporotic vertebral body fractures for seniors across Ontario. In partnership with Sheridan College and the Ford government, we hope to see the roll out of a new Medical Radiation Technologist training program to serve our growing health human resources needs. My most cherished project however has been reducing the age of breast cancer screening from 50 down to 40 years of age. This will save many young lives. I want to thank Minister Sylvia Jones and Premier Doug Ford for taking great interest in this project. It is deeply meaningful to me. I wish my friend and colleague Dr. Mark Baerlocher great success as he takes over the role this coming year. His good humor and clinical excellence will serve the province and the association well. Thank you all for your support and encouragement over the last 5 years. I will continue to work quietly in the background to ensure the ongoing development and success of medical imaging and interventional radiology in our great province.$

This intervention by the Human Rights Commission is the reason we now have a male pedophile, who raped his 5 year old daughter pretending to be a woman to reduce ‘moral culpability’ and his jail sentence with time served in a female only prison! Prioritising the rights of a persons mental illness before that of women’s safety and providing no justice for that poor little girl who’s life has been destroyed. Sickening!

Could police legally shoot this guy? Deputies respond to domestic dispute and a 28 year old male leaves the property. He turns around, hauls ass down the road, almost hits one deputy, and slams into the other two deputies. Suspect gets out of the car and slowly walks words the standing deputy, with both hands visible, and gets tased. The tough part is he is now removed from his weapon (the car). My opinion the deputy on the ground could have dumped him.

Only if education could be this interactive ❤️‍🔥 I've had a looong wish to build something genuinely useful through vibe coding, and I finally did it. A 3D human anatomy application built with Three.js using GPT 5.6 Sol. It all started with a single design image that I created using GPT Image 2.0. I then used it to generate every 3D organ image, one by one. Next, I converted each of those images into 3D models using Tripo (and no, they didn't sponsor this 😄). After that, I opened Codex, wrote a master prompt based on the design, and gave it the prompt, the design image, and all the 3D models. Codex built the first version beautifully, but there was one big problem. Every single 3D model was nearly 120-150 MB. That obviously wasn't practical for the web and was giving a performance of 16fps. After a few iterations, Codex optimized each model down to roughly 2–5.5 MB while preserving the visual quality, reducing the total asset size from ~900 MB to just 28.6 MB. And each model loads on demand. Along the way, Codex also generated those anatomical illustrations showing where each organ sits in the human body, and even created the interactive hotspot markers that explain different parts of every organ. It handled all of that. The process wasn't exactly one shot, but it also wasn't difficult. You just have to do it step by step. It genuinely felt like building something that could make learning anatomy much more engaging. The inspiration came from Dilum Sanjaya's 3D animal plant cell project. We’re thrilled to share that our MERFISH+ preprint is now live on bioRxiv!👉 In this work, the Bintu and Zhu labs (UCSD) developed MERFISH+, a next-generation spatial genomics platform that combines genome-wide RNA and epigenetic imaging over a large field of view. By introducing acrydite-modified probes covalently anchored to hydrogels, MERFISH+ achieves remarkable imaging stability and enables >1,800-gene, multi-modal, and multi-month experiments. With this platform, they, together with the Chi lab at UCSD, profiled a whole developing human heart at 12 post-conception week with merely two slides, resulting in a total of 53 slides, 3.1 million single cells and more than 30 cell types. Building upon our previous 3D reconstruction and modeling framework, Spateo ( we reconstruct the 3D human heart that nicely captures the anatomical structure of the heart, including the intricate vasculature network. Sophisticated analyses provide a holistic view of an entire organ and enable systematic characterization of 3D cellular neighborhoods and transcriptional gradients of substructures such as the descending arteries. Small update on the human powered exoskeleton ⚙️ After breaking countless 3D-printed parts, I can finally suit up by stepping in and closing both sides of the chest plate. It’s not related to human augmentation yet, but I thought it was pretty lame to have a fully functional exosuit that you couldn’t even put on seamlessly. I still need to fabricate the lower rib straps like shown in the CAD. But the toque hinges I chose seem to work just fine, hopefully that is still the case when I make everything out of aluminum! Btw the arrangement of the mock up linear cylinders on this video is not the right one and will change to a Stewart platform configuration when I have the belt frame done. I want to thank evm capital (andrew and Suhas Sumukh !) for supporting my project with a grant :D I’m also extremely thankful to Merge Club (and ofc ari dutilh )for supporting the project with a grant. Big shoutout to Rohin and andrew for their support with a micro grant too! I’ll stage demo this project at Socratica symposium in Waterloo march 19!!!
