I know you don’t know Pooja but I will enlighten you… Do you know there is a company in Nigeria called Zipline Zipline that uses drone to deliver drugs & vaccines to people especially in remote places? No, you are not aware. This has been in Nigeria for a while now & I wonder why they aren’t so popular cos they are still fully operational.

NEW: Florida man who shot at a Walmart delivery drone over his home and joked with officers that he “can’t breathe,” ordered to pay the retail chain $5000. New Jersey could use this guy right now. Walmart employees say they were performing a mock delivery with the drone when a pop rang out. The drone then raced back to the facility. 72-year-old Dennis Winn says he shot at the drone with his 9mm after it flew over his property. The Lake County Sheriff's Office says they found a bullet hole in the payload the drone was carrying. Winn will avoid jail time as long as he is not charged with any other crimes within six months.

I can confirm that Walmart is now using drones to deliver items directly to front yards here in North Carolina. Currently they are only available with certain Walmart locations and you need to live within 6-8 miles a store that offers drone delivery. The order has to be 2.1 lbs or less. Pretty wild stuff...

Every time the customer orders something and the delivery guy has to deliver it to their home. They call and complain that their driveway is private property and that they shouldn’t be using it even to deliver their mail or packages and pizza. This delivery man is fed up with the unreasonable complaints so if the homeowner doesn’t want him on the property, he is going to leave their packages on the curb on the public street from now on. Is he being reasonable or is he using malicious compliance in this case?

California based ‘Zipline’ company is expanding operations in Texas. “Over the next few weeks, residents on the north side may occasionally see our aircraft flying over that private land about 300 feet in the air,” said head of community engagement at Zipline, Conner Wilkinson. The “calibration” flights will pave the way to bringing the drone deliveries to the Kaufman and Dallas-Fort Worth areas, reported the Kaufman Herald. Zipline partners with many companies but is only working with Walmart at this time in the Kaufman area. “Orders are loaded in seconds and then the Zip undocks and raises up to about 300 feet in the air and then flies to its destination,” Wilkinson said. Zipline has multiple drones, including the one you see below which drops off packages by parachute.

This woman was excited for her new appliances. She ordered a new washer and dryer, and a stove to be delivered right away from Lowe’s. She also purchased a new fridge to be delivered in a month because she had to modify the cabinet for fitment. Come delivery day, she was at work, and her son was home for the delivery. He didn’t know what was coming and in what order, he was only there to let the in. Not only did they deliver the fridge that wasn’t supposed to be there until a month later, they dented it in many spots. They forgot to deliver the stove and the dryer altogether. Her parents went to an open house an hour from her home and she happened to go along with them. In the dining room was a rabbit in a cage in horrible conditions. It was sitting in its own 💩 and was filthy. When they left, she cried and had to go back for it. Coincidentally, her friend runs a rabbit rescue! They found out later that it was blind, had not been out for 7 years and the owners did not even know that he was a she. This rescue is heartwarming and the rabbit knows she has a new, safe home. 🥰
