I’m gonna show you how to do it faster. 7% of 300 = 300% of 7. Obviously that’s 21. Switching the percentage and number always works. For example; 12% of 33.3? Not easy quick math. Switch it. 33.3% of 12? One-third of 12 is obviously 4. 33.3% of 12 ≈ 4 12% of 33.3 ≈ 4

Or just use 3 since that’s 1 percent of 300 and multiply that by 7

What's 13% of 528? Not so simple when the number is not a multiple of 100.

I just do 7% of 100 is 7 300= 100 x 3 ? = 7 x 3 Answer 21 Easy.

Just move the decimal point over to the left 2 units, that’ll give you 1 percent of the total number which is 3. And then multiply by the percentage that you are looking for in this case it’s 7. Makes the math seem way more simple lol

or you could just do the percent number times the first number of the second number …

The way I go about it is. 30 is 10% of 300, each percentage point equates to three. 1%=3 2%=6 3=9 all the way till 7% of 300 equals 21.
