Poland was not on the map of Europe in 19th century. Its territory was divided between Austria, Prussia and... Russia in the late 18th century for 123 years. Poland regained its independence in 1918.

You know the most interesting part is that Ukraine as a political name was already widely used before anyone even thought to rebrand the Duchy of Muscovy and coined the word “Rossiya”.

Not to mention that Poland temporarily didn't exist back then, cause Russia was one of the countries that stripped Poland of it's independence.
